Delaney Cicora has been appointed as Sustainability Coordinator at St Julien Hotel & Spa

St Julien Hotel & Spa has named Delaney Cicora as sustainability coordinator, where she will lead the property's in-house Green Team and advance its commitment to eco-conscious hospitality. The hotel also received a Gold level certification within the Colorado Green Business Network (CGBN), the only luxury hotel in the state to receive this recognition.

Neal Daftary has been appointed as Vice President of Market Development at American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA)

Neal Daftary joined AHLA this week as vice president, market development, Green Key Global. Daftary will be responsible for expanding the certification programs of Green Key Global, a joint venture of AHLA and the Hotel Association of Canada that empowers hospitality businesses in North America to achieve excellence in sustainability. Daftary brings more than a decade of experience in hospitality, franchise development, and operations. He most recently served as Director of Franchise & Sales Development at OYO Hotels, where he led growth initiatives across key U.S. markets. He also held roles with the U.S. Small Business Administration and in hotel operations earlier in his career. His leadership will be instrumental in advancing Green Key Global's mission and driving industry-wide progress in sustainable practices.

Renee Wagner has been appointed as Director of ESG & quality management at Orascom Hotels Management

Wagner is tasked with leading the improvement of ESG and quality management across the OHM portfolio, including the promotion of social responsibility and community engagement through a series of impactful programmes, developing training programmes to educate employees on ESG principles and practices and implementing a quality assurance process in line with Orascom's brand mission.

Jon G. Muñoz has joined Travel + Leisure as Senior Vice President, Environmental, Social, and Governance

In this new role, Muñoz will support the evolution of environmental strategies focused on energy use, water conservation, recycling, and pollution reduction. He will also partner with stakeholders to continue the company's social strategies to strengthen its commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and human rights. Muñoz' team will also oversee the company's community engagement and philanthropic efforts, including guidance of the Travel + Leisure Charitable Foundation.

Lou Ana Garcia has been appointed as Social Impact Manager at Rosewood São Paulo

Rosewood São Paulo, a metropolitan oasis mirroring the energy and heritage of Brazil, has appointed Lou Ana Garcia as its Social Impact Manager. In her role, Lou Ana will be responsible for driving, educating and engaging the property's sustainability initiatives. She will also educate the hotel's associates on the property's efforts in this space, work to implement the tracking of plastic, food waste, water and carbon, and engage with the local community to support hiring, sourcing and partnerships.

Mehvesh Mumtaz Ahmed has been promoted to Vice President of Social Impact at Rosewood Hotel Group

Mehvesh Mumtaz Ahmed also joined Rosewood Hotel Group just over a year ago as Head of Social Impact and will advance to the role of Vice President of Social Impact. This new role for Mehvesh signifies the progression of Rosewood Impacts, which embeds programs to empower people in internal and external communities, and strengthens the brand's role in sustaining the earth by placing circular hospitality at the center of business efforts.

Javier Arredondo has been named Vice President, Sustainability at Virtuoso

Javier Arredondo has been named Vice President, Sustainability for the purpose of advancing Virtuoso's mission to make sustainability a greater factor in consumer choice when planning travel, so that those doing great things in sustainability are also rewarded with commercial success. Serving Virtuoso's sustainability community, including Virtuoso members and partners and its Sustainability Council, Arredondo will be collaborating with Virtuoso's senior leadership, including Virtuoso Vice-Chair and Sustainability Strategist Jessica Hall Upchurch, and internal teams to develop and implement programmes and services specifically addressing sustainability.

Gloria Juste has been appointed as Corporate Senior Director of Social Responsibility at Palladium Hotel Group
