Micah Friedman has been appointed as Chief Information Officer – Global at Rosewood Hotel Group

Bringing over thirty years of hospitality and technology experience, Micah Friedman will lead the global IT organization and work with Rosewood Hotel Group's leaders to craft and drive a digital business transformation that will create better experiences for guests, associates, management and owners. Most recently, Micah led travel and hospitality management consulting for Cognizant Technology Solutions and previously oversaw Oracle Corporation's hospitality industry business unit. Prior to joining Oracle, Micah served as Enterprise Architect for a major private equity firm and held technology leadership positions at renowned clubs and resorts.

Joseph Flynn has been appointed as Chief Revenue Officer at Sertifi

Prior to that, he was at The Rainmaker Group, SRS Health, Newmarket International, and SoftBrands (formerly Infor) where he held executive roles in both Sales and Marketing. Flynn has a proven and consistent track record of driving rapid growth in both smaller organizations and larger organizations. His in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and experience with growing businesses in both the healthcare and real estate sectors make Flynn a valuable addition to the Sertifi team.

Howard Tse has been appointed as Managing Director APAC at HRS (Hospitality & Retail Systems)

James Pawlikowski has been appointed as Vice President of IT Service Management at Radisson Hotel Group

Radisson Hotel Group today announced the appointment of James (Jamie) Pawlikowski as Vice President of IT Service Management. In this newly created role, Pawlikowski will be responsible for supporting business operations and continuously improving the service performance of Radisson Hotel Group's current and future platforms. He will also lead the Service Management team and oversee global test strategy and planning, service testing, operations, and performance and issue management. Under Pawlikowski's leadership, the Service Management team will focus on enhancing the current system support capabilities, driving accountability within the service-level and operating-level agreements internally and with vendor partners, and substantially evolving the company's ways of working.

Timothy April has been promoted to Chief Information Officer at Vail Resorts

Vail Resorts, Inc, today announced that Timothy April, currently Vice President of Information Technology and Guest Experience, has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, effective October 29, 2018. April will join the Vail Resorts Executive Committee and oversee all facets of technology for the Company, including innovative enhancements to the guest experience and best-in-class systems throughout the Company's operations. April replaces Robert Urwiler, who is retiring after 12 years with Vail Resorts.

Stacy Duncan has been appointed as Director of IT at Chesapeake Hospitality

Duncan has held several positions in the information technology sector including her 16 years responsible for the IT structure and operation of 110 Wendy's restaurants. Most recently, Duncan served as IT director for A&A Global industries where she provided IT support for the company's diverse business needs. As director of IT with Chesapeake, Duncan will be responsible for working with leadership to ensure each hotel property has secure computer operating systems and effective support resources in place. Duncan holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in computer network engineering from Westwood College online.

Laurent Idrac has been named Advisory Board Member at HAPI

In preparation for rapid adoption and growth, this strategic appointment reflects HAPI's commitment to true innovation, leadership and positive change for the hotel market. Currently serving as an independent consultant, Idrac is a recognized hotel technology leader whose career spans over three decades. He managed IT departments for Accor North America from 2002 until 2012 and, as Global Chief Information Officer for AccorHotels, oversaw numerous IT projects that contributed to the company's global digital transformation. From 2012 to 2017, Idrac managed AccorHotels' partnership with the Innovation Factory, the first innovation campus cluster in Paris. In 2014, he was elected to the Board of Governors of HTNG (Hospitality Technology Next Generation). He also served as a member of the Customer Advisory Boards of Oracle and Amadeus Hospitality and in 2017, received the Innovation Award from CHTA (China Hospitality Technology Alliance).
