El San Juan Hotel Announces Re-opening
El San Juan Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, Puerto Rico"s premier luxury lifestyle property, will officially re-open its doors on October 1, 2018, following its closure in September 2017 due to the impact of Hurricane Maria. Re-introducing the elegance, sophistication, and vibrant nightlife for which the hotel is known, the extraordinary 388-room property is undergoing a restoration reflected in its guestrooms, oceanfront villas, public spaces, pools, and lush outdoor landscaping, blending modern tropical splendor with Old-World elegance.
With a long history as one of the Caribbean"s most desired retreats, the restoration, in line with last year"s $65 million renovation, will revitalize the property"s arrestingly detailed interiors and award-winning grandeur. Hosting groups of first responders and aid workers following the devastating storm, El San Juan Hotel is currently playing a leading role in the island"s recovery. Managed and operated by Two Roads Hospitality, the property is part of Curio Collection by Hilton, an exclusive portfolio of one-of-a-kind hotels and resorts handpicked for their unique character.

The highly anticipated reopening will feature various restored areas of the property, including the renowned ornamental hand-carved mahogany that covers the lobby ceilings, property columns and vaulted arch over the registration area.
