Iconic Hayes Mansion in Bay Area Unveils $20 Million Renovation and Joins Curio Collection by Hilton
The Hayes Mansion San Jose (Hayes Mansion), a California historical landmark, announces the completion of its transformative renovations that includes 214 revamped guest rooms and suites, 33,000-square-feet of upgraded event space and a reimagined lobby. The design was led by ForrestPerkins, a premier hospitality design group with extensive Hilton and historic hotel experience. The original luxury estate structure was constructed in 1905 and is situated on six acres of prime real estate adjacent to a 20-acre park located minutes from downtown San Jose. The property hosts a variety of premier outdoor spaces that can accommodate the most intimate of celebrations to the largest of gatherings across two pristine lawns and patio areas. Hayes Mansion is owned by a joint venture lead by JMA Ventures, LLC, and operated by Aimbridge Hospitality.

Hayes Mansion was selected to join Curio Collection by Hilton, a global portfolio of remarkable hotels handpicked for their unique character and personality. The reception area has been reconceived with warm tones and traditional textures, interspersed with modern accents and engaging elements. Every guest room and suite at Hayes Mansion has been remodeled and refurbished. With the intent to create an atmosphere to accommodate the modern guest, the rooms feature travel-inspired details, rich wood, hand-forged iron accent pieces, and improved technology that includes conveniently located bedside USB charging ports and upgraded wireless internet that ensures visitors are connected throughout their stay.
The all-new Palm & Ember, features a completely new bar area, with airy blue-green tones, classic tiling, wood and brass fixtures, and quartz countertops, the lounge flows through to the 150-person dining room and out to a scenic, full-service, 40-person outdoor terrace and garden seating area. The eatery features fresh herbs and ingredients gathered from the Hayes Mansion garden.
The revamped IACC certified meeting space features spacious set-ups and functional floor plans that accommodate small groups to conference-size events. Hayes Mansion features A/V staff on site and T3 lines with 100MB connectivity. Additionally, the expansive grounds can be bought-out for an individual retreat experience like no other in the heart of Silicon Valley.
