William Numa has been appointed as General Manager at Hôtel Barrière Le Carl Gustaf St. Barth

Hôtel Barrière Le Carl Gustaf St. Barth is pleased to announce the appointment of William Numa as the new General Manager of the boutique hotel. The property is one of the Barrière Group's flagship properties and opened October 2020. In his role, Numa will oversee the entire hotel including the 21 suites and bungalows, famed Fouquet's restaurant with a menu created by three-star Michelin Chef Pierre Gagnaire, Spa Diane Barrière, Shellona Restaurant and Shell Beach along with its team members to ensure the best experience for guests.

William Numa

Numa has been in the hospitality industry for two decades. In his most recent role, he ran the Quatrième Mur, in the Bordeaux region, one of the properties affiliated with Michelin-starred celebrity chef Philippe Etchebest. He previously managed the Domaine de Raba, a gourmet-focused manor with luxurious and characterful rooms and lodges along with three restaurants, bar, spa and a movie theater. Numa has also worked at Le Royal Riviera, the Métropole Monte-Carlo and the Fairmont, three of the most renowned hotels on the French Riviera.

As a person who enjoys challenges and competition, Numa indulges in a myriad of activities. He loves to connect with nature and being outdoors which he incorporates into his hobbies through playing tennis, soccer and surfing. Numa enjoys indulging in the wonders of food and wine which was his inspiration for starting a career in the hospitality industry. He is a frequent traveler and has become a professional explorer through his various ventures to Asia, Australia and around the world.
