Tom Riley brings a wealth of experience to his new position, boasting an impressive track record in the hospitality industry. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held leadership roles at renowned companies such as Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, Remington Hotels, and Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants. Notably, Tom played a pivotal role in expanding Kimpton's portfolio throughout the Eastern United States, Caribbean, and Latin America during his 17-year tenure. He holds an MBA from Palm Beach Atlantic University and actively participates in industry associations and organizations.
Banyan Tree Group is determined to extend its expansion efforts into the USA and North America, the Caribbean, and Latin America. In pursuit of this goal, the company is strategically leveraging its existing portfolio of properties in Mexico (Mayakoba, Acapulco, Puebla, and Merida), as well as Cuba (Cayo Santa Maria). Furthermore, the Group has exciting projects in the pipeline, including the highly anticipated Banyan Tree Veya Valle de Guadalupe, Banyan Tree Veya Bacalar and the recent signing of the first Angsana in Spain.
