Ritter will lead and manage the day-to-day operational strategy and execution at the sister properties, which serve as cornerstones of Tampa's thriving hospitality scene in the dynamic Water Street Tampa neighborhood.
Ritter will oversee key operational initiatives across both properties, ensuring a seamless guest experience while also guiding teams to elevate service standards, and continuing to drive strategic growth and innovation. Located along Tampa's revitalized waterfront near the convention center and Amalie Arena, the hotels offer a distinct blend of luxury and comfort through curated culinary experiences and wellness-focused amenities. Ritter's appointment reflects the collection's continued commitment to excellence and operational leadership within the region.
Ritter brings over two decades of progressive hospitality experience, having held executive leadership positions within Marriott International at multiple notable properties, including Tampa Marriott Water Street, Tampa Renaissance International Plaza, and Tampa Airport Marriott. Since joining Tampa Marriott Water Street in 2017 as Resident Manager and subsequently as Director of Operations from 2020 onward, Ritter has driven notable enhancements across operations and revenue strategy. His tenure has been marked by achieving record-high guest satisfaction scores and fostering outstanding associate engagement.
