Daisy Williams has been appointed as Executive Chef at Kimpton Shane Hotel
The Kimpton Shane Hotel is proud to announce the appointment of Daisy Williams as Executive Chef, bringing a refreshed vision to Hartley Kitchen & Cocktails and Aveline Bar, the property’s signature dining destinations. Making history as the property’s first female executive chef, Williams joins the Midtown property with a refined, ingredient-forward approach, blending classical technique with a deep appreciation for Southern heritage.
Chef Williams joins The Shane following an impressive tenure leading high-volume, multi-outlet kitchens within the Marriott brand. Born and raised in St. Louis and a graduate of culinary school in Louisville, Ky., Williams’ culinary identity is a sophisticated blend of Midwestern heart, soulful Southern technique and global influence.
Under Williams’ leadership, The Shane’s culinary outlets will see a refreshed vision:
- Hartley Kitchen & Cocktails: Williams envisions a modern Southern dining experience that serves as an homage to Atlanta’s rich heritage. Guests can expect a menu balanced by coastal freshness and seasonal produce, designed to evoke the comfort of home with the sophistication of a premier Midtown dining destination.
- Aveline: The hotel’s stylish bar and lounge will feature Williams’ lighter, garden-inspired small plates. These flavors are designed to beautifully complement the Spanish-inspired tapas already beloved by Aveline’s guests that reflect the energy of Atlanta’s culture and the shifting seasons.
Beyond the kitchen, Williams is a dedicated advocate for Georgia’s agricultural community. An active member of both the Metro Atlanta and Georgia Beekeepers Associations, she tends her own hives and frequently incorporates local honey into her culinary repertoire.
A passionate small-batch winemaker, Williams also holds the long-term goal of joining Georgia Grown, contributing to the state’s growing reputation as a premier agricultural and culinary hub. Her commitment to Atlanta extends to her personal time, where she volunteers with Hands On Atlanta and the Atlanta History Center, investing in the city that fuels her creativity.
To experience Chef Williams’ creatively crafted cuisine firsthand, Hartley serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, while Aveline offers evening service (Tuesday–Sunday) and a signature weekend brunch. To view menus or book a reservation, please visit HartleyKitchenATL.com and AvelineBarATL.com.
Daisy Williams is an alumnus of Sullivan University – Class of 2013.
