JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, part of Marriott International's luxury portfolio, has announced the appointment of Aditya Kulkarni as Senior Banquet Chef. Bringing more than a decade of global culinary experience spanning Europe, the Caribbean, India, and the United States, Kulkarni will oversee banquet culinary operations for the resort's growing meetings, events, and celebrations business.
Kulkarni joins JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa following four years as Sous Chef at JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, where he played a key role in leading large-scale culinary operations, mentoring team members, and delivering exceptional dining experiences for both resort guests and event attendees. Throughout his career, he has built expertise in menu development, kitchen operations, quality assurance, team leadership, and high-volume banquet execution across properties including the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort and Little Cayman Beach Resort in the Cayman Islands, The Gore Hotel in London, and more.
Known for his collaborative leadership style, Kulkarni is passionate about fostering positive kitchen cultures built on trust, professional development, and operational excellence. He is committed to creating opportunities for team members to grow while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
In his new role, Kulkarni will lead banquet culinary operations across the resort's meetings, weddings, social events, and special programming. He will oversee menu innovation, kitchen execution, quality standards, and team development while continuing to elevate the resort's reputation as a premier destination for memorable events on Florida's Gulf Coast.
Outside of the kitchen, Kulkarni enjoys traveling, playing pickleball and cricket, and sharing the flavors of his native Indian cuisine with family and friends.
