Schaumburg joins Jakarta directly from the iconic Taschenbergpalais Kempinski in Dresden, Germany, where he served as Director of Food & Beverage. Over his career, he has gained extensive experience across Asia and Europe, including Sunway Resort Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Angsana Laguna Phuket, InterContinental Grand Stanford in Hong Kong, and Kempinski properties across China, including Shenzhen, Shenyang, Huizhou, Yinchuan, and Sanya.

At Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, Schaumburg will be responsible for overseeing F&B operations, bars, lounges, and extensive banquet facilities, while introducing innovative concepts and maintaining world-class service standards.
