With more than 15 years of luxury hospitality experience across Australia and Asia, Morgan will lead the iconic Gold Coast property through a significant evolution, working closely with Hilton, the hotel’s owners and its team members to deliver the brand’s highly bespoke service. The hotel will continue to welcome guests while preparations are underway for its future transition to LXR Hotels & Resorts, Hilton’s collection of independent, one-of-a-kind luxury hotels and resorts.

A commercially driven and future-focused leader, Morgan has held key roles across multiple brands globally, with a career defined by landmark pre-openings, operational excellence and strong owner alignment. Most recently, Morgan served as hotel manager of Keraton at The Plaza, a luxury hotel in Jakarta where she led the property through a complex renovation, repositioning and reopening. Under her leadership, the hotel delivered sustained growth and achieved leading customer service results.

Her international experience spans luxury hotel operations across Australia and Asia, where she has developed a reputation for building strong service cultures, driving commercial performance and delivering distinctive guest experiences in highly competitive luxury markets.

Earlier in her career, Morgan held senior Front Office roles with Hilton Sydney, making her return to Hilton especially meaningful. Morgan credits Hilton and the leaders she worked with early in her career, playing a pivotal role in shaping her professional journey and inspiring her passion for international hotels. Since then, she has had the privilege of working across several distinguished international properties and is looking forward to bringing those experiences back to Hilton and the Gold Coast.

Passionate about hospitality and developing the next generation of talent, Morgan has also contributed to the industry as a Young Tourism Leader for Tourism Queensland. Outside of hospitality, she enjoys tennis, snow skiing and spending time outdoors with her family. She has also recently taken up running and is now training towards the Gold Coast Half Marathon in 2027.

Ahead of its debut as Australia's first LXR Hotels & Resorts property, the hotel will undergo a significant refurbishment designed to elevate the guest experience while celebrating the property's distinctive character. Set along the Gold Coast’s Southport Spit, The Imperial Gold Coast is an iconic waterfront retreat celebrated for its grand architecture, Italian-inspired design and unrivalled Broadwater frontage. As the property embarks on its transformation, it will remain fully operational, continuing to provide exceptional guest experiences while accepting reservations. Guests can now book through Hilton channels ahead of the hotel’s future debut as Australia’s first LXR Hotels & Resorts property.
