Hilton has announced the appointment of Winnie Chu as General Manager of Xi Zhe Wuxi, Curio Collection by Hilton, as it strengthens its leadership across Asia Pacific to support the continued growth of its luxury and lifestyle portfolio.
Chu brings 20 years of luxury hospitality experience across mainland China and Hong Kong. She joins after serving as Director of Operations at Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund, where she oversaw operations within one of Shanghai’s most iconic heritage buildings. Recognised as Hotel Manager of the Year at the 2024 Stelliers Greater China Awards, she has built a reputation for leading high-performing teams while balancing the character of landmark properties with the expectations of today’s modern traveller.
Xi Zhe Wuxi, Curio Collection by Hilton is located in the culturally rich Liangxi district of Wuxi. The 105-room hotel spans a contemporary seven-storey tower and a protected heritage building dating back to 1933, placing visitors within walking distance of the city’s historic landmarks and vibrant commercial district.
