The Drake Oak Brook, Autograph Collection, today announced the appointment of Raina Spasov as General Manager. In her new role, Spasov will oversee operations of the 154-room hotel, located just outside Chicago in the exclusive suburban enclave of Oak Brook, Illinois. She joins the hotel’s accomplished group of female executive leaders, including owner Tely Nagle, Operations Manager and stakeholder Karla Caldera, and Director of Sales & Marketing Jill Hare, among others.

Over the course of his career, he has developed a strong reputation for operational excellence, commercial leadership, and delivering transformational growth across high-profile hospitality businesses.Prior to joining Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, as General Manager, King spent time at Luttrellstown Castle Resort, first as General Manager, and later as CEO. During his tenure, he oversaw a significant period of transformation for the luxury estate, enhancing its reputation as one of Ireland’s leading hospitality destinations through strategic development, operational innovation, and elevated guest experiences.Earlier in his career, King held senior leadership positions at The Shelbourne Dublin, Autograph Collection, where he played a key role during an important phase of growth and evolution, contributing as part of the leadership team that achieved the prestigious AA Red Star status.
