Six Senses La Sagesse is delighted to announce the appointment of Jeff David as General Manager. Jeff takes the helm at the debut Six Senses in the Caribbean, which opened in April this year and is located in the parish of St. David, Grenada.Jeff brings an impressive background spanning over thirty years in the luxury hospitality industry to Six Senses La Sagesse, the brand's first in the Americas. A former recipient of the prestigious Hotelier of the Year Award in Anguilla, Jeff's expertise to date includes positions in luxury brand operations as well as hotel start-ups and time spent overseeing high net worth, high-profile luxury assets. Jeff has also led a number of international asset management projects under his own company, Jeff David Hospitality, founded in 2017.Jeff started his career in hospitality as a dishwasher while attending the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), whereafter he spent six years as GM with Viceroy Hotels & Resorts. Jeff has been instrumental in opening and operating several properties such as Santa Monica Proper in Santa Monica, the historic Knickerbocker Hotel on 42nd and Broadway and Viceroy Palm Springs. Jeff's prior positions also saw him spend nine years with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts where he began his career at The Regent Beverly Wilshire.

Kendra Hopkin-Stewart has been appointed as Assistant Manager at Blue Horizons Garden Resort

Grenada's Green Globe-certified Blue Horizons Garden Resort has appointed Kendra Hopkin-Stewart to the role of Assistant Manager overseeing the resort's general operations. Hopkin-Stewart grew up in the ‘Isle of Spice’ and migrated shortly after high school to pursue her higher education in Canada. Throughout her travels and work experiences she honed her skills in the Hospitality arena, namely, Marketing, Guest Services and Operations. Her return to Grenada and the application of her experience to the boutique resort business model will bolster Blue Horizon's reputation. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at the University of Western Ontario, Hopkin-Stewart headed to Toronto where she obtained her post graduate diploma in Business Marketing from George Brown College. She then relocated to New York for advanced training in Food and Beverage Management at Cornell University.

Mark Grebby has been appointed as General Manager at LaSource

Mark Grebby has been appointed to the position of general manager at LaSource, the luxury-inclusive spa resort located on Pink Gin Beach in Grenada. As the new general manager, Grebby strategically directs the resort and handles the day-to-day operations. A native of the United Kingdom, Grebby began his career working in London’s most fashionable, five-star hotels, including The Halcyon Hotel and The Milestone Hotel. He has served as manager of the Athenaeum Hotel and Apartments, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, and as deputy general manager overseeing private club memberships at St. James’s Club. His work experience also includes opening the Malmaison in Manchester and serving as general manager of a private estate in Buckinghamshire. Grebby has also served as resort director on the board of Watergate Bay – The Hotel and Extreme Academy where he was responsible for overseeing several projects including the opening of the Jamie Oliver-inspired restaurant Fifteen Cornwall and renovating the entire Watergate Bay hotel. Throughout his career, Grebby’s projects have received several honors and industry certifications, including South West Tourism Destination of the Year, Best UK Restaurant (Fifteen Cornwall) and the prestigious international business award from Coutts Bank for Best Small Family Business in the U.K. In 2008, Grebby left England to accept the position of general manager for a resort group in St. Lucia. Three years later, he joins the Elite Island Resorts team to oversee LaSource in Grenada.
