Art-Invest acquires Intercity Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Süd from CA Immo
German investor Art-Invest Real Estate, on behalf of one of its institutional fund vehicles, has acquired the three-star, 414-room IntercityHotel Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Süd in Germany from Austrian real estate investor and developer CA Immo. The property is situated in central Frankfurt adjacent to the main train station. It includes a restaurant, bar, six meeting rooms and 18,700 sqm of lettable space. The hotel is operated by IntercityHotel GmbH, a subsidiary of Steigenberger Hotels GmbH, under a long-term operating lease.
Patrizia acquires B&B Berlin Tiergarten from Art-Invest
German real assets investment manager Patrizia, on behalf of its special fund PATRIZIA Hotel-Invest Deutschland I, has acquired the 186-room B&B Hotel Berlin Tiergarten in Germany from German investor Art-Invest Real Estate. The hotel is situated in Berlin’s Charlottenburg district by the Berlin Zoo and includes a breakfast restaurant. The property is leased to B&B Hotels on a long-term basis. Art-Invest acquired the project in 2015 and completed its development in 2016.
Whitbread acquires Future Inns in Bristol and Plymouth in England
British owner-operator Whitbread has acquired the four-star, 149-room Future Inn Bristol and the three-star, 143-room Future Inn Plymouth, both located in the south-west of England in the UK from Canadian owner-operator Future Inns. The Bristol hotel is located in the city centre, next to the Cabot Circus shopping centre, while the Plymouth hotel is at Plymouth International Business Park on the city's northern edge. Both hotels will be converted to the Premier Inn brand, with the first due to reopen in early November 2026 and the remaining rooms by mid-December 2026.
Cofinance Group acquires Les Plumes Hôtel in Paris from Bagatelle
French real estate investment company Cofinance Group has acquired the four-star, 35-room Les Plumes Hôtel in Paris, France from French family-owned hotel owner-operator Compagnie Hôtelière de Bagatelle. The property is situated in Paris’ 9th district, halfway between the Gare du Nord train station and Palais Garnier. Following the acquisition, Cofinance plans to renovate the hotel’s guest rooms and public areas.
Extendam and Mont-Blanc Collection sell Hotel Le Lyret in Charmonix, France
French private equity firm Extendam, together with French owner-operator Mont-Blanc Collection, has sold the three-star, 37-room Hotel Le Lyret in Charmonix Mont-Blanc, France. The property is situated at the foot of Mont Blanc, near the Swiss and Italian borders and about 68 km from Geneva airport. The hotel includes a restaurant, bar and outdoor swimming pool. The JV acquired the hotel, formerly Chalet Hôtel Les Gourmets, in 2022 and reopened it in December 2024 after an extensive renovation.
Hunton Hotels acquires Nottingham Belfry Hotel & Spa in the UK
British owner-operator Hunton Hotels has acquired the four-star, 120-room Nottingham Belfry Hotel & Spa out of receivership, after the hotel ceased trading in February 2026. The property is situated within Nottingham Business Park on the outskirts of Nottingham, close to the M1 motorway. The hotel includes a restaurant, 12 meeting rooms and a spa with swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Hunton plans to extensively renovate the hotel ahead of its reopening.
Whiterock acquires future B&B Hotel Bron in France from Icade and Nexity
French real estate investment company Whiterock has acquired the future 96-room B&B Hotel Bron in Lyon, France from its developers, French real estate investment trust Icade and French real estate developer Nexity. The property is currently under construction in Lyon’s eastern district of Bron, a 20-minute drive from the city centre. Upon completion, the hotel will be leased to B&B Hotels. This acquisition will bring Whiterock’s portfolio to seven B&B-operated hotels.
MNK Partners acquires two Travelodge hotels in Chippenham, UK
French portfolio manager MNK Partners, on behalf of its MNK Global Core fund, has acquired the 70-room Travelodge Chippenham Leigh Delamere M4 East and the 31-room Travelodge Chippenham Leigh Delamere M4 West in Chippenham, UK, in a deal worth €5.2 million (€51,500 per room). The two properties are situated opposite each other on either side of the M4 highway, halfway between Bristol and Swindon in the south-west of England. Both hotels are operated by Travelodge under 18-year operating leases. This acquisition brings MNK’s portfolio to 10 hotels across the UK, Ireland and Poland.
