George Ganchev has been appointed as General Manager at Ajman Hotel, first hotel integrated in Blazon Hotels

The Bulgarian national George Ganchev is taking a new challenge by integrating the first property of Blazon Hotels brand in Ajman. Carrying with him more than 26 years of experience in the hospitality industry, George Ganchev holds a MBA degree in Hotel Management from NEOMA Business School, Paris. George Ganchev joined Kempinski in 1997 as Front Office Manager in Bulgaria. Ever since then, he has been developing his skills in six different countries, such as the United Arab Emirates with the pre-opening of the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski in Tanzania, Kempinski Hotel Amman in the capital of Jordan, then Egypt with the luxury resort Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay in Red Sea, followed by Saudi Arabia where he led the Burj Rafal Kempinski Hotel Riyadh. In 2015, George Ganchev took the leadership of the Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga – preopening the first five star hotel in Latvia - before joining in December 2017 the Blazon Hotels brand during the rebranding of Ajman Hotel. George Ganchev is now leading the team at Ajman Hotel through an exciting schedule of enhancements, including the recent rebranding of one of the local guests" favorite spot renamed Blazon Lounge and the all-day-dining restaurant Café Naseem providing outdoor terrace with sea-view.

Rene Vincent-Ernst has been appointed as General Manager at Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel

Hospitality Management Holding has appointed Rene Vincent-Ernst as the General Manager for Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel. Vincent-Ernst has over three decades of outstanding experience in the hospitality industry spanning Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Vincent-Ernst began his career in the industry at The Savoy Hotel in London in 1988 as the food and beverage manager and subsequently worked his way up serving a number of key positions in various prestigious hotels. He also worked as a consultant for Tourism Development and Investment Company Abu Dhabi from May 2015 to February 2017. A Danish national, Vincent-Ernst holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Royal Hotel School in Denmark and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Delward University in California.

Melanie Munoz has been appointed as Food & Beverage Manager at Kempinski Hotel Ajman

A French national with 14 years’ experience, Melanie Munoz has worked for exclusive five star properties (Starwood, Club Med and a few independent luxury hotels) in various countries across the world in places such as Nice in France, Palmiye in Turkey, St Barthelemy in the Caribbean Islands, Wellington in New Zealand, Bora Bora in French Polynesia and, lately, Phuket in Thailand.

Malika Khaled Zarour has been appointed as Spa manager at Kempinski Hotel Ajman

With 13 years of experience in the spa industry, Malika started her career in 2003 in Jordan, after graduating with the Business Management diploma from the Ibn Khaldoun University in Algeria. A great ability to thrive and a passion-driven attitude towards the tourism and hospitality industry quickly aided Malika on her career path, taking her to the Moevenpick Resort Dead Sea, where she held several positions during her nine years there, overseeing more than 80 therapists and an extensive operation of 35 treatment rooms in the therapy centre and spa. This was followed by positions at other upscale luxury hospitality groups in Jordan.

Ghazi Louhichi has been appointed as Food and Beverage Manager at The Ajman Palace Hotel

The Ajman Palace Hotel has appointed Ghazi Louhichi as its new food and beverage manager. Ghazi brings more than eight years' experience to his new role, having worked at prestigious properties such as Hilton London Metropole, Europe's largest conference and banqueting hotel, and Al Bustan Rotana Hotel Dubai, winner of Dubai Leading City Hotel 2013 at the World Travel Market. Prior to joining The Ajman Palace Hotel, Ghazi was assistant director of food and beverage at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel Dubai.

Firas Aboughalioun has been appointed as Director of Revenue at Kempinski Hotel Ajman

Having previously worked in various positions in different upscale hotels around the Middle East and Africa, Firas joins the Kempinski Hotel Ajman team with a strong hospitality background, bringing 20 years of experience with him. The Jordanian national has been loyal within the past eight years to different Starwood hotels, and prior to his appointment at Kempinski Hotel Ajman, he worked as director of revenue management in The St Regis Mauritius Resort. Firas began his career in the industry at the young age of 16. He has worked in leading five-star h otels around the Middle East for the past 20 years, starting in the Food & Beverage department in Jordan. He was also on the opening team of Kempinski Mall of the Emirates in 2005 before working for three years in Gambia, Egypt and Mauritius. In his new role, Firas will maximise the overall room revenue through development and implementation of effective inventory and pricing strategies, which are based on future demand forecasts, current trends and historical data. He will oversee the market share and revenue performance through proper pricing and management, whilst developing an overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channels.
