Graduating with a Business Administration Degree, Ibrahim kicked off his career in 1999 when he joined the Holiday Inn Hotel Amman as a sales manager for four years. He quickly found his calling and his perfect fit at Four Seasons Hotel Amman in 2003, when he joined the team as a Sales Manager. Due to his extensive and professional expertise, Ibrahim was then promoted to Associate Director of Sales before starting out the New Year as the Hotel’s Director of Sales.

Sébastien Mariette has been promoted to General Manager at Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea

Sébastien Mariette H01 was promoted to General Manager for the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea in Jordany. Prior to that Sébastien was heading two hotels in China: Kempinski Hotel Wuxi and Kempinski Hotel Yixing which opened in January 2013. He started his career with Kempinski in Eastern Europe, followed by appointments in Africa and China. In November 2013 Sébastien Mariette received the trophy for the best General Manager in the luxury category at the 14th Worldwide Hospitality Awards ceremony. Prior to his MBA in Hospitality at ESSEC Sébastien worked 7 years at Disneyland Paris in Revenue / Marketing / General Manager EVE.

Amal Maria Salah has been promoted to Director of Catering and Conference Services at Four Seasons Hotel Amman

Four Seasons Hotel Amman announces that Amal Maria Salah has been promoted to Director of Catering, where she will be responsible for creating five-star events from organizing social affairs to arranging high-powered meetings for businesses. Amal began her tenure at Four Seasons Hotel Amman in 2008 when she joined as a Catering Sales Manager. Since then, Amal has managed to perfect the art of creating dream weddings and successful business meetings and conferences in the Hotel's versatile ballroom and meeting spaces. Amal is also responsible for planning and overseeing outside catering events - from conventional to out-of-the-box, she specializes in the organization, implementation and execution of the most stand-out functions. Amal’s ultimate passion to work in the field of catering and event management proved to be successful when she was promoted to Assistant Director of Catering in 2011. Amal stands out as a Four Seasons employee who shows the utmost dedication and commitment to her work, and that’s why in 2011 she was voted Catering Salesperson of the Quarter.

Hani Abu Lafi has been promoted to Director of Sales & Marketing at The Four Seasons Amman

In his new position, Hani takes on a key role at the luxurious 192-room property, where he will develop and implement dynamic and creative sales and marketing strategies that support the success of Four Seasons Hotel Amman. Hani has excelled at every stage of his career at the Hotel from when he first joined in 2005 as a Sales Manager, and through his promotion to Director of Sales in 2009. Born in Kuwait and raised in Jordan, Hani graduated from University of Huddersfield in England with a degree in Hotel and Catering Management with Tourism and Leisure. He is very passionate about the newest addition to his family, his daughter Raya, and in his leisure time he enjoys playing football and squash.

Mali Carow has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Amman

Mali Carow has been named Food and Beverage Director at Four Seasons Hotel Amman, overseeing all kitchens, in-room dining, banquet events, in addition to food and beverage operations for the six diverse outlets that include Olea, Asia, Vivace, FIVE Grill & Lounge, The Foyer Lounge and The Square Bar.Born in Minnesota and raised in Chicago, USA, Mali loves her job for one simple reason: “I adore travelling and eating,” she says. “I believe food says so much about people, their history and beliefs. In my opinion, the best way to learn about a culture is to hit the streets and eat with people.”

Prior to joining the team at Four Seasons, Yasmin worked at a reputable PR agency for seven years, boasting a wide range of experience with corporations and industries, and now this is her first venture into the hotel and hospitality industry, and she is very excited about pursuing her new career. Yasmin graduated with a Masters degree in Print Journalism in December 2002, and has been working in the fields of journalism and public relations since then. Yasmin is also a certified copywriter from the Institute of Copywriting, UK.

Stefan Lourens has been appointed as Deputy General Manager at Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel and Towers

South African Lourens, a well rounded and greatly experienced hotelier, joined the team at the Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel and Towers bringing with him an extensive pool of experiences from implementing new food and beverage concepts to building strategic alliances with various key figures and corporations in the hospitality industry around the world. Throughout his career, Lourens attended many international courses with strong focus on hotel management, leadership skills and marketing. Mohammad Barakat has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Four Seasons Hotel Amman

Four Seasons Hotel Amman is proud to announce Mohammad Barakat as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. Barakat first joined the family of Four Seasons in 2002 as Sales Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre, and was promoted to Director of Sales in 2006. His passion for working in the Arabian gulf region moved Barakat to Dubai, where he became Director of Sales for The Address in 2009 and Armani Hotel in 2010.

Patrick Beaury has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Amman

Beaury began his journey with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 2003, joining the pre-opening and opening team at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica in the role of Food and Beverage Director. In 2005, he occupied a similar position at the company’s hometown property in Toronto, Canada followed by Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, prior to moving to Four Seasons Hotel Amman. Born in France, Beaury completed his secondary education at the Institution des Chartreux in Lyon, before continuing to obtain several management and hospitality certifications including INCAE, H.C.S, B.T.H and C.A.P. His international career path has allowed him the opportunity to be perfectly multilingual, being fluent in his native French, as well as English, Spanish and Portuguese.
