Sylvain Pasdeloup has been appointed as General Manager at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua

Sylvain Pasdeloup has been appointed General Manager at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua. He was formerly the Hotel Manager at the property and in his new role, he will oversee the hotel operations and management of the luxury resort on the Nusa Dua coast. He has spent several years with the Sofitel brand and has been with the Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort management team since the hotel opened. Sylvain has also worked with various international hotel chains in Europe, Australia and Asia and since joining Accor, he has opened two Sofitel properties in India and Indonesia.

Pierre Lang has been appointed as General Manager at Alila Seminyak

Pierre Lang, the newly appointed General Manager of Alila Seminyak, Bali, brings with him a wealth of over fifteen years of experience in the hospitality industry. A German national, Pierre previously worked for established international brands including Armani Hotels & Resorts, Grand Hyatt in Dubai and Berlin, and Park Hyatt in the Maldives. He has extensive experience opening five star hotels, having spearheaded several pre-opening teams during his career. Pierre will soon be opening Alila Seminyak, in September 2015, making it the fifth Bali property in the group's portfolio.

Pasquo King has been appointed as Executive Chef at Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay

With more than 17 years of experience in kitchens, this Australian native developed his culinary skills in some of his home country’s best restaurants. Most recently, he worked at high-profile hotels in Shanghai and Dubai. As Pasquo explains, “I’ve found I really enjoy the multifaceted nature of the hotel business – getting to experience different cultures and working with multinational teams. In a hotel or resort, I’m able to express my culinary ideas in many different avenues from restaurants and buffets to banquets and In-Villa Dining.”

Alex Dietzsch has been appointed as Executive Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali

The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali has announced the recent appointment of Mr. Alex Dietzsch as Executive Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage. He has been tasked with the responsibility to revitalize culinary services at the resort and take in-house dining experiences to exciting new heights. As a German national, Alex served time in the military before embarking on a career in the hospitality industry. His portfolio includes diplomas in Hotel Management and Financial Management along with certification in Advanced Food Hygiene. Having worked his way up through the F&B hierarchy, Alex brings a wealth of culinary knowledge and enthusiasm to his new role. He has been with Starwood Hotels & Resorts for almost 10 years and he fully identifies with Westin’s brand philosophy of “Preserving wellness in travel”.
