Trish Berry has been appointed as General Manager at YOTEL Boston

Berry brings over 30 years of luxury hospitality experience to YOTEL. She has strong ties to Boston, where she was most recently general manager at Ames Boston, where she oversaw the hotel's transition to become a Hilton Curio property as well as the opening of Cultivar, the on-site restaurant. Prior to that, Berry served as general manager at the Battery Wharf Hotel, where she managed its successful transition from a branded Fairmont property to a fully independent hotel. She also has significant experience in the Mid-Atlantic, where she managed Baltimore's The Ritz-Carlton Residences Inner Harbor, a 191-unit luxury condominium residence community with a spa, marina and restaurants, and served as general manager of Hotel Monaco for Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group.

Reed Kandalaft has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences One Dalton Street, Boston

Stephen Cullen has been promoted to General Manager at Copley Square Hotel and the Ames Boston Hotel

Accorhotels to open the first Raffles in North America

David Eskander has been appointed as regional vice president of hotel development, the Americas at WorldHotels

As regional vice president of hotel development for WorldHotels, Eskander will be responsible for the company's development efforts for the Americas. His primary focus will be on the strategic re-positioning of the company's America portfolio, including the development of the company's new luxury tier. Eskander is a Leading Hotels of the World alumnus, having overseen global development for the company for the past three years. During his tenure there, he successfully orchestrated global expansion of the company's portfolio, gaining over 60 hotels in six new countries.

Robert Rivers has been appointed as General Manager at Loews Boston Hotel

Robert Rivers oversees Loews Boston Hotel, the historic property that was formerly the Boston Police Department headquarters. His 20 year track record of results driven excellence is evident by his most recent role with Millennium Hotels, where he was the general manager of The Bostonian Hotel. With a customer service focus, Rivers led the 204 room property and North 26 Restaurant and Bar to produce an annual revenue of over $23 million, be a four-time AAA Four Diamond Recipient from 2012-2016 and Meetings & Convention Hotel of the Year and Guest Satisfaction Hotel of the Year, both in 2015.

Jennifer Tavares has been appointed as Director of Sales at Courtyard Boston Downtown/North End

Jennifer Tavares was named Director of Sales. Ms. Casillo will be responsible for overall management of the property, its resources, staff, and growth strategy. Ms. Tavares will be responsible for driving sales and related promotion of the property. Both executives bring a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector to their new roles at the Courtyard.

Natasha Casillo has been appointed as General Manager at Courtyard Boston Downtown/North End

Ms. Casillo has spent more than twenty years in hospitality and has been an integral part of leadership teams at well-respected properties in the Boston area. Prior to being named General Manager at the Courtyard, Ms. Casillo was the Director of Rooms at the Hotel Commonwealth for three years during a $55 million hotel expansion. Before to that, she was the Director of Front Office at the Intercontinental Boston. During the course of her career, she has also worked at British Airways, Boston Marriott Copley Place, and Boston Marriott Cambridge. Ms. Casillo earned her B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management at Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, England.

Brian C. P. Connors has been appointed as Area Director of Finance at Ames Boston Hotel and Copley Square Hotel

BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has named Brian C. P. Connors area director of finance for the Ames Boston Hotel and the Copley Square Hotel. Both properties, located in Boston, are part of Benchmark’s Gemstone Collection. Kirk Jones, chief financial officer, made the announcement. Brian Connors was previously centralized controller for Crestline Hotels and Resorts. He gained on-property experience working as controller for the Hilton Stamford Hotel & Executive Meeting Center, the Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center and the Holiday Inn Brookline, among other hotels on the east coast. Mr. Connors is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston where he earned his degree in Accounting, and is a Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive by the International Association of Hospitality Accountants. Connors is conversant in multiple languages in addition to his native English, including Spanish, Italian and French. He resides in Boston.
