Ronald Egelman is the new Senior Director of Development for the UK, Ireland and Nordics. Ronald brings over 25 years of experience in hotel operations, corporate finance, asset management and hotel development. He recently served as Director of Development Middle East & Africa for IHG where he spent most of his career, alongside several other positions at Marriot and independent hotels in Europe.

Andrew Peacock has been appointed as General Manager at Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport

Andrew Peacock, a Bristol local, has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 14 years, nine of which have been spent at Hilton hotels. Most recently, he acted as the general manager at Doubletree by Hilton Bristol North in Aztec West after a four year stint as deputy general manager. Prior to this, Andrew worked in Switzerland running two hotels for a ski and snowboard company. His extensive portfolio has armed him with the knowledge and expertise needed to launch and manage a busy hotel.

Christopher Peach has been appointed as General Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel, Bristol

The Rezidor Hotel Group – one of the fastest growing hotel companies worldwide – has appointed Christopher Peach as the General Manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Bristol. Christopher, who is British, has a solid background in the hospitality industry, spanning 23 years. Having started his career in 1987 as Commis Chef aboard the Queen Elizabeth II cruise liner, he has since held various management positions at different international hotel chains in South Africa, China, Bahrain, UAE, Turkey and Russia.

Robin Wicks has been named chief executive at Sanguine Hospitality

Sanguine Hospitality has appointed Robin Wicks as chief executive to lead its expansion plans. The group, founded by Liverpool entrepreneur Simon Matthews- Williams, plans to open six more hotels in the next 12 months. Mr Wicks, who was already a non-executive director at Sanguine, spent 16 years at Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), where he served as chief operating office for Europe. Sanguine opened its first Hotel Indigo in Liverpool this year. Sanguine will open two more boutique hotels under the Indigo brand, which is owned by IHG, in coming months.
