Ali Ozbay has been appointed as cluster director of marketing and communications at Rixos Hotels

Bringing extensive expertise in strategic marketing and communications to his position, Ozbay will take charge of the marketing operations of the three Rixos Hotels in the UAE— Rixos The Palm Dubai, Rixos Bab Al Bahr and Rixos Premium Dubai. Additionally, he will oversee all aspects involving strategic development, content development, brand activation, public relations and advertising. Ozbay has been an integral team player of the marketing and communications department at Rixos from 2009 until 2014, successfully completing a tenure of five years. Ozbay holds a master’s degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management from the University of Brighton in United Kingdom.

Gluckmann, a Spanish national draws from experience across five different countries and has managed F&B operations in a variety of properties ranging from boutique hotels to large scale resorts and corporate city hotels. Gluckmann has also worked with a number of well-known international brands including Etihad Airways. Most recently, he led the complete outlet renovations of Siddhartha Lounge in 2016 as operations manager and F&B manager at Grosvenor House Hotel.

After his graduation from Vatel Hotel Management School in France, Halbi held various positions throughout his career such as - strategy and revenue manager, director of reservations, director of rooms and operations.

During his career, he had the opportunity to be associated in the organisation of a wide range of social, cultural and corporate events such as weddings, parties, exhibitions, meetings, seminars, workshops, etc – which gave him a strong knowledge of event planning and execution.
