Lauren Rawlins has been promoted to Director of Leisure Sales at Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa

Lauren Rawlins first joined Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in 2021 as a Senior Sales Executive. An Oahu native, she brings nearly two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. In her previous roles, Rawlins was Director of Sales & Marketing at Hyatt Centric Waikiki and spent ten years working at various properties in Koloa and Honolulu, including The Royal Hawaiian, Turtle Bay Resort and The Kahala Mandarin Hotel. She attended the University of Hawaii's School of Travel Industry Management where her passion in the travel and hospitality industry began to flourish. In her new position as Director of Leisure Sales, Rawlins will provide top-line industry leadership with a focus on overseeing and maintaining relationships with key travel agents and partners.

Hamao has been Resort Manager at the OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort since 2022. Before that, she was Area Director of Front Services for OUTRIGGER's six Waikiki hotels and began her OUTRIGGER career as Front Office Manager. She came to OUTRIGGER from The MODERN where she was Director of Front Services and started her hospitality career at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort as Guest Services Manager.

Earlier this year, Beimes was appointed Hotel Manager of the OHANA Waikiki East by OUTRIGGER; before that she was Area Director of Front Services for the property in addition to the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. She was also Assistant Area Director for the same hotels and OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach Resort and Front Office Manager at the Beachcomber. Beimes began her hospitality career in 2013 as an intern at OUTRIGGER's flagship OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort.

Hotel manager Jon Itoga is a seasoned professional with more than 10 years experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, Itoga served as AVP of operational finance for Marriott Vacation Worldwide Aqua-Aston, working closely with 15 properties in Hawaii to achieve improved financial returns. Prior, Itoga was the director of finance for the celebrated Turtle Bay Resort, where he focused on new labor productivity efficiencies that led to over $1 million in savings. Since 2016, Itoga has lectured at University of Hawaii on subjects such as hospitality accounting, food services management, statistics for decision making, and strategic management.
