The Residence Pop Up Terrace Bar Opens At Four Seasons Hotel London At Ten Trinity Square

This July, Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square opens its doors to an exclusive rooftop bar, The Residence, situated on the terrace of one of its luxury private residences. Overlooking some of the city's most impressive sights, from the Tower of London to the Shard, the bar will be open Thursday to Saturday evenings until September.

Hermann Spatt has been appointed as General Manager at nhow London

Born in Austria, Spatt studied International Hotel Management at MODUL University before joining Astron in Vienna as front office manager before becoming general manager Astron Suite Hotels - Vienna and Atterseehaus in 1997. Spatt subsequently joined NH Hotel Group in 2003 as GM for NH Vienna Airport. In 2011, he accepted his current GM position at Nhow Berlin, Europe's first music hotel.

The Standard, London opens July 11th

Housed in the former Camden Town Hall Annex in London's thriving King's Cross neighbourhood, the 1974 Brutalist building has been meticulously restored and sets the perfect stage for The Standard's first hotel outside America. The Standard, London has 266 rooms in 42 unique styles ranging from Cosy Core rooms to terraced suites with outdoor bathtubs overlooking St Pancras station. The lobby lounge, with a carefully curated library pays homage to the building's original use, with a Sounds studio hosting weekly live music and talks. Executive Chef Adam Rawson's street facing bar, Double Standard, offers lunch, happy-hour and casual drinking and dining, while his garden restaurant, Isla, features a seasonally-driven, coastal inspired menu. Board the street level, exterior red lift directly to the 10th-floor where Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias' forthcoming restaurant will showcase his live fire cooking and the building's 360-degree views of London.

Irene Hoek has been promoted to Vice President of Global Residential Development at Rosewood Hotel Group

Having most recently served as Vice President of Development for the European market, Irene Hoek now assumes the role of Vice President of Global Residential Development for the group. In this new role, Irene handles all matters relating to Rosewood's growing residential division, which currently features 12 existing projects and an additional nine in the pipeline. Irene first joined Rosewood in 2017 boasting over 20 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry across brands including Aman Hotels & Resorts, Dorchester Collection and InterContinental Hotels Group.

Educated at the University of Westminster, he has also completed the Advanced Management and Leadership Programme from The University of Oxford's Saïd Business School. In recognition of his wide-ranging expertise and career success, he has recently been made an FIH Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality.
