Hyatt Announces Plans for Hyatt Place London City/East

Hyatt announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a franchise agreement with Resolution Property, which has teamed up with specialist real estate firm Berkeley Capital Group, to develop a Hyatt Place hotel at Black Lion House on Whitechapel Road in Aldgate. Hyatt Place London City/East will be a 280-room hotel managed by Cycas Hospitality and will mark the fourth collaboration with Cycas Hospitality on select service Hyatt hotels in Europe.

Andrew has been a journalist for his entire career, starting out on trade press titles before joining the national press and a brief spell at the BBC. Cvent, Inc., a market leader in meetings, events, and hospitality technology, has announced the hiring of Jamie Vaughan as Head of European Sales for Cvent's Event Cloud platform, which offers the solutions organisations need to automate and simplify the entire event planning process and maximize the impact of their meetings programme. Vaughan has nearly 20 years of experience in the European event technology and software-as-a-service (SaaS) spaces and will be based at Cvent's European HQ in London.As the Head of European Sales for Cvent's Event Cloud, Vaughan will drive the growth strategy in Europe and lead the regional sales teams as they expand their customer base and deliver Cvent technology to new markets and customers. His efforts will also include supporting the opening of Cvent's first office in Germany later this year. Vaughan has held senior positions at event technology companies including Glisser and Eventbase. Prior to those roles, Vaughanlaunched and built a number of successful SaaS brands.
