The world's tallest modular hotel - which will carry a brand of Marriott International (NASDAQ:MAR) - is on track to be stacked in late fall in New York City with prefabricated and pre-furnished guestrooms. Once erected over a 90-day period, the 360-foot-tall tower will represent a milestone for Marriott's ongoing initiative to encourage hotel developers in North America to embrace modular for new construction projects. To be topped with a modular roof and modular rooftop bar, the world's tallest modular hotel is expected to open in late 2020 as the AC Hotel New York NoMad.

International hospitality company Lore Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Kasia K. Bronisz to Director of Sales and Marketing, DC for the Riggs Washington DC, a new hotel property opening in late 2019 in D.C.'s high-profile Penn Quarter neighborhood. As Director of Sales and Marketing, DC, Bronisz will be responsible for leading all sales and marketing efforts for the launch of Lore Group's first U.S. hotel. Housed in the former historic Riggs National Bank building, the forthcoming property will feature 181 guest rooms, a ground-level restaurant, rooftop, and basement bar, where Bronisz's role will be to define scalable marketing strategies and objectives as well as oversee hotel occupancy and revenue generation.
