From June 2018, Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris welcomes Jean Claude Wietzel as Regional Vice President and General Manager. ollowing a 16-year long career with Four Seasons, Wietzel makes the move from his most recent post as Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea in Hawaii to Europe to oversee his new region from the iconic Parisian hotel.After a Master of Business Administration in International Hotel Management in France at IMHI (Cornell University - ESSEC) and an international career, Wietzel joined the Four Seasons family in 2002 as the Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel New York. He soon was appointed to the same position at Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, where he gained the respect and care of the 600 talents working at the Hotel, offering the most unique experiences to Hotel guests during his four year tenure.In 2007, Jean Claude was promoted to General Manager at Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, followed by Four Seasons Resort Marrakech where he served as the opening General Manager. He then embraced the alohaspirit when he joined Four Seasons Resort Maui, a 380-room resort, where he managed a staff of more than 900 employees and built a strong commitment to the local community. He has also completed with his team a floor-to-ceiling transformation of the Resort's guest rooms and suites, along with numerous enhancements in the public areas. He was promoted to Regional Vice President in 2017 before coming back to Paris and his beloved George V, where the enthusiastic staff warmly welcomed him back after 11 years."During those 16 significant years within Four Seasons, the four years I spent at Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris truly filled me with unforgettable memories. Jean-Luc Naret has been appointed as CEO at La Réserve Paris Hotel and Spa

Last month, Jean-Luc Naret was appointed CEO of La Réserve and General Manager of La Réserve Paris Hotel and Spa. Jean-Luc has more than 35 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry. Before joining La Réserve, he was General Manager at One&Only Reethi Rah, a role he held since 2015. Prior to that, he spent eight years as General Director of the Michelin Guides Worldwide. Jean-Luc is a graduate of the École Hotelier de Paris and the Cornell University General Management Program. In 2007 he was knighted by the Prime Minister of France as Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur, the country’s highest honor. In his new role, Jean-Luc will oversee the brand’s four properties. Located amid 10 acres of parkland on the shores of Lake Geneva, La Réserve Geneva is the brand’s flagship property and home to the largest spa in the city and the first NESCENS destination spa in the world. Just 15 minutes from St. Tropez, La Réserve Ramatuelle is designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte and tucked within a Mediterranean Garden overlooking the Côte d’Azur. Jérôme Billy graduated from the Ecole Supérieur de Sales in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. He began his career in the hotel business at the Le Meridien Montparnasse Hotel before moving to Dakar for three years as Sales Director and Marketing then two years in Mauritius where he held the same position at the Hotel Mövenpick Resort, Spa & Golf Mauritius. In 2014, he joined the WHR Group and became Managing Director of the Warwick Reine Astrid - Lyon after three years as Managing Director of Hotel Villa Massalia in Marseille.

3rd citizenM property to open in Paris at the Gare de Lyon.

The citizenM Paris Gare de Lyon Hotel, which is to open today, is the 3rd citizenM hotel in France and is located a short walk away from the Gare de Lyon station. It features 338 rooms and as with its sister properties the hotel is home to innovative tech amenities including; self check-in; completely customizable guest rooms via touchscreen MoodPads; communal workspaces; meeting areas fitted with Smart TV"s; furniture by the renowned Swiss brand Vitra; canteenM - the 24 hour grab & go style canteen that has a full service cocktail bar, and outdoor space such as an open air patio and cloudM - a rooftop bar offering stunning views of the river Seine and the city. The property also features a selection of specially commissioned art works by popular Dutch artists Jetske Visser & Michiel Martens who have created a install called "Reflecting Holons" which combines bubbles and light that continually shine, move, and dance in the entrance area creating a visually interactive arresting spectacle. With twenty-five years dedicated to luxury hotels, Guy Bertaud brings an international experience and an undeniable sense of service. A graduate in management and tourism, Bertaud began his career in the hotel industry in 1988 at Le Meridien London. He then joined the InterContinental Paris catering business in 1992, where he spent 4 years before heading to the Middle East for Le Royal Meridien Bahrain. Bertaud returned to Paris in 1999 at the Hotel Prince de Galles as Director of Catering before joining the teams of the prestigious Hotel Plaza Athénée in 2004 where he practices Function of Deputy Director. This is followed by new experiences abroad, in Lebanon, Monaco and the United Arab Emirates. Guy Bertaud is once again called to be the General Manager of the InterContinental Bordeaux - Le Grand Hotel in 2016.

Jean-Luc Cousty has been appointed as General Manager at Hotel Lutetia

The hotel group The Set Hotels, owner of the Hôtel Lutetia in Paris, has appointed Jean-Luc Cousty to the general management of the emblematic institution of Paris Rive Gauche, which reopenes soon after major renovation work . Jean-Luc Cousty began his career at the Concorde Hotels at the age of 21, and quickly joined the Hôtel Lutetia as Administrative Director. Although he makes a few successful professional sidesteps to other prestigious hotels, his footsteps always brought him back to the Lutetia where, in the mid-90s, he occupied for 3 years the position of Director Of Operations, in charge of Restoration. In 2008, he returned to the position of General Manager where he orchestrated the celebrations of the centenary of the hotel and the preparation of the renovation works which began in 2014. Last March, Cousty ended his mission as General Manager of the Hotel du Palais in Biarritz, the only Palace on the Atlantic Coast. Managing Director since the closure of the Lutetia, in particular, it has ensured the renewal of the Palace label in 2016 and set up a new commercial policy allowing to carry out, with its teams, two years of historical activities. At the age of 54, he returns to his first loves, Hotel Lutetia.

Yooma: a brand new hospitality concept settles in Paris
