Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has appointed Baris Agacbuken as the new general manager of the 481-room DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia Center City. In his new role, Agacbuken will lead the team in all aspects of hotel operations, overseeing the property's dining venues, amenities and more than 27,000 square feet of meetings and events space. He will also oversee the property's multi-phase renovation, beginning with phase one, which will focus on the hotel's meeting spaces, main lobby, and food and beverage outlets and is expected to be completed in Q1 2026. A guestroom renovation will follow in late 2026, with completion expected by mid-2027. DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia Center City is managed by Hilton and owned by Lobro Associates.
