Meticulously designed in collaboration with award-winning firm Parker Torres Design, the room renovation commenced in January 2025 and will continue through 2026, elevating the guest experience and cementing Manchester Grand Hyatt's status as a definitive landmark of Southern California hospitality.

Sean Murphy has been appointed as General Manager at The Bower Coronado

Sean Murphy brings more than a decade of luxury hospitality experience to his role as general manager at The Bower. Most recently, Murphy led operations as Director of Rooms at The Inn at Mattei's Tavern, Auberge Resorts Collection, where he spearheaded the property's opening and contributed to its recognition as one of Architectural Digest's best new hotels in 2023. Prior to Auberge, Murphy served as general manager of Hotel Esencia, a celebrated 50-acre estate and independent luxury hotel along Mexico's Caribbean coast. Brandon Sloan has been promoted to Executive Chef at Pendry San Diego

Since joining Pendry San Diego in 2017 as Chef de Cuisine and most recently as Executive Sous Chef, Sloan has played a significant role in overseeing the culinary operations for Nason's Beer Hall, Fifth & Rose, Provisional Kitchen, and in-room dining. William joins Pendry San Diego from Alma San Diego, where he served as director of food and beverage. Throughout his 30-year career in the food and beverage industry, Figueroa has held leadership positions at several premier culinary concepts in Seattle, London, New York City and Los Angeles.
