Enrique Juarez has been appointed as Director of Sales at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia

Enrique Juarez was appointed as director of sales, where he will lead the entire group sales team, oversee the resorts’ efforts to expand its footprint in the association segment and personally handle all opportunities originating out of the West Coast, Pacific Northwest, Western Canada and Colorado. Joining the Omni team from the Phoenix Marriott Tempe at The Buttes where he was the director of group sales, Juarez’s background also includes working as a national account manager for Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix and other positions at Scottsdale Plaza Resort. Juarez is also heavily involved in the Professional Convention Management Association.

Doug Varsano has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa

Varsano began his new role at Omni Scottsdale in July and serves on the resort’s Executive Committee responsible for oversight of the luxury resort’s overall sales efforts, group, transient and catering, in addition to public relations and marketing at all levels. Varsano will also serve as liaison to the Area Managing Director on future developments and acquisitions in the Southwest region.With 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry that includes working with top luxury hotel brands, Varsano most recently served as the director of sales and marketing at Phoenix Marriott Tempe at the Buttes in Tempe, Ariz. During his tenure at Marriott, he led his team to earn the Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association’s coveted Community Service Leader of the Year Award for the state of Arizona two years in a row.

Chuck Kazmer has been appointed as Executive Chef at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North welcomes Executive Chef Chuck Kazmer, a 25-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotelsand& Resorts, arriving most recently from the brand’s sister property in Amman, Jordan. Kazmer assumes responsibility for the Scottsdale property’s three main restaurants – Talavera, Proof, an American Canteen, and Saguaro Blossom poolside grill – in addition to Onyx Bar & Lounge and all food and beverage service throughout the conference and banquet facilities. Prior to joining the Scottsdale team, Kazmer served as Executive Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Amman, where he was responsible for the property’s seven kitchens and eight restaurant outlets. Kazmer’s crowning achievement while in Amman was opening brasserie La Capitale, a multi-million dollar project, involving a complete restaurant and kitchen concept and design.

Marc Bromley has been promoted to General Manager at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North announces the appointment of Marc Bromley as General Manager, effective immediately. A 10-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Bromley served most recently as the property’s Resort Manager since spring 2014. During Bromley’s time as Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale, he helped guide the team to record-high performance in both profit and internal key product metrics. With his involvement in the day-to-day operation, Bromley developed a deep knowledge base of the property and arguably its most valuable asset, the employees. His familiarity with the property will serve him well in his new role as General Manager.

Todd Muilenburg has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Embassy Suites by Hilton Resort Scottsdale

Todd Muilenberg has an exceptional history working with three-, four-, and five-diamond hotels and resorts. His decade of experience includes working in sales and marketing for locations such as the Renaissance Glendale Hotel and Spa, Resort Suites, and Fairmont Scottsdale. His career also includes leading the sales and marketing for hotels within both the Marriott and Embassy Suites brands. Currently, with Embassy Suites by Hilton Resort Scottsdale, Muilenburg is responsible for maintaining and building the hotel’s clientele and brand image.

Alan Klein, nearly a Scottsdale native and upstanding member of the Scottsdale community, has successfully led multiple hotels and major hotel transformations. With more than 24 years of hospitality experience in all phases of operations and all levels of management, Klein has proven results such as increased profitability, improved employee and guest satisfaction, and creating new revenue streams. Past turnarounds include the Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa in Tucson, the Saguaro in Old Town Scottsdale, and Monterey Beach Resort in California. Klein is active in his community and has served as the former Chair of the Southern Arizona Lodging and Resort Association, Board Director of Visit Tucson, Board Director on the Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association, Board Director of the Valley Hotel and Resort Association and is currently a Board Director of the Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau.
