Robby Qiu has been appointed as Vice President - Development, China at Rosewood Hotel Group

Mr. Qiu brings 12 years experience in hotel development, asset management, feasibility studies and legal services to Rosewood Hotel Group, with three years working for Trump Hotel Collection as chief country executive and vice president development and acquisition in mainland China. Previously, he was with AccorHotels Group for seven years with his last position held as senior director of development for Greater China. Mr. Qiu began his career with Blake Dawson Waldron International Law Firm in Australia after acquiring a master’s degree in contract law and company law at the University of Manchester, U.K.

Arno Nicolussi Moretto has been appointed as Cluster General Manager at Greenland Hongqiao

Greenland International Hotel Groups (GIHG) has announced that Mr. Arno Nicolussi Moretto has been appointed as Cluster General Manager of Greenland Hongqiao World Center Hotels.Mr. Moretto will manage all pre-opening activities and operation of two hotels—the 5-star PRIMUS Hotel and the 4 star QUBE Hotel—and the exclusive PRIMUS RESIDENCES, which are located just beside Shanghai National Exhibition Convention Center and due to open in April and June of 2017. A seasoned and hands-on senior professional with over 28 years of hotel management experience, Mr. Moretto delivers optimal results and business value in environments that demand exceptional strategic and operational business planning. An Austrian native and proficient in German and English, he has held several executive roles of international hotel groups including Assistant Vice President & General Manager, Banyan Tree Desert Spa & Resort, Kingdom of Bahrain and Vice President - Operations Miramar Int. Hotel Management Corp., Hong Kong. He began his career in China in the year 2000 as General Manager of The Ritz Hotel Taibei and General Manager of InterContinental Olympic City, Qingdao during 2007-2010; General Manager of Accor Pullman Villas & Resort, Sanya during 2013-2016 and he was General Manager of Sofitel Chongqing Hotel before he joined in Greenland International Hotel Groups. After many years working and living in China, Moretto is familiar with the Chinese cultural and domestic business market. He will lead the team in Greenland International Hotel Group’s flagship hotel project to stand out from numerous competitors in the Shanghai National Exhibition Convention Center area and build successful GIHG brand awareness in the region with his high business sensitivity, brilliant management skills and strong leadership. Previously holding the position of Assistant Director of Sales – Regional Sales Office for Park Hotel Group, Kitty possesses valuable regional sales and hotel property sales experience from her times with reputable hotel groups such as Starwood, Shangri-La, Carlson Rezidor and Infinite Luxury. She has more than 15 years’ experience working in China’s hospitality industry. Together with the current team, Kitty will drive incremental business across all major segments to Marco Polo and Niccolo hotels from the important Shanghai market. A Chinese national, Kitty holds a Bachelor degree in Finance from The Central Broadcasting University.

Michel Molliet has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer, Greater China at AccorHotels

Michel Molliet has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of AccorHotels, Greater China, effective January 01, 2016. In his new role, he will oversee the management of the group’s 125 operating hotels and projects in the pipeline across mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, a portfolio which includes 10 brands from the luxury and upscale to midscale and economy segments.
