IHG brings the 1st voco Hotel to Guangdong Greater China

Sunil Narang has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen

Born and raised in Amritsar, India, Sunil was certain of his career in hospitality from a young age. Right after finishing secondary school back home, he packed his bags to move to Switzerland to attend the prestigious Hotel Management School at Les Roches for his Bachelor's degree. Fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and with fair knowledge of German, he continued to work on his French with a brief assignment at the Hotel Eden Palace au Lac in Montreux before leaving lake and mountains to join Four Seasons across the pond in 1996.

Alejandro Clausen has been appointed as Executive Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen

He is responsible for the day-to-day kitchen operation of FOO, the all-day dining restaurant, Yi Bar & Lounge, and the Hotel’s banquet program. With 14 years of culinary experience across South America, Europe and Asia, Chef Alejandro leads the team at Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen in taking quality cuisine into the next level of excellence.

Cristina Dolendo has been appointed as Director of Marketing at Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen

Returning to China for the fourth time, Cristina Dolendo previously worked in the key cities of Shanghai and Beijing beginning in 1990. She has worked with three global hotel brands prior to her move to Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts in 1999, starting with the former Regent Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia before moving on to open the company's hotel in Puxi, Shanghai and then subsequently anchoring herself for eight years at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore. Cristina hails from Manila, Philippines where she graduated with a BA degree in Mass Communications at the Ateneo de Manila University. She first started work as a magazine writer before discovering the hotel industry through public relations then shifting to sales and finally as Director of Marketing. In her post, Cristina oversees various departments that include Sales, Catering and Conference Services, Public Relations, Revenue Management and Reservations.

Vivien He has been appointed as Director of Human Resources at Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen

Vivien first began her career in hospitality as a public relations officer in an international hotel in her native city Chengdu, China before finding her true calling in human resources. She started her climb as training officer, working her way up the HR ladder over the next ten years with three major global hotel chains in China's key gateway cities - Chongqing, Chengdu, Beijing and Shenzhen. She returns to what she considers her second home - Shenzhen, where she first worked in 2002, but this time to join Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen. As head of the HR division, Vivien oversees Staff Hiring, Benefits and Lodging as well as the Hotel's overall training. Vivien majored in English at the Sichuan International Studies University.

Francois Regis Simon has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen

A native of Brittany, Francois is a graduate of Hotel Management School in Strasbourg, France. He was introduced into the world of hospitality as a corporate management trainee for a global chain, earning for him a meteoric rise up the food and beverage ladder, which included positions as restaurant manager and banquet manager on both sides of the English Channel - London and Paris. In 2003, he joined the iconic Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris as Assistant Director of Room Service. One year later, he was promoted to department head and subsequently to Assistant Food & Beverage Director overseeing the operations of the Hotel's legendary Michelin starred LeCinq restaurant. Seven years later, Francois crossed the ocean for the Far East to pick up his promotion as the Food & Beverage Director at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, where two Michelin starred restaurants reside under one roof. Two years later and a promotion to Hotel Manager, Francois made a quick border crossing to Shenzhen to be part of the Hotel's pre-opening team to oversee all departments under the extensive Food & Beverage and Rooms divisions, which include Security, Front Office and Executive Lounge, Concierge, Bell Services, Business Centre, PABX, Spa/Fitness Centre, and Housekeeping.

Arthur WC Ho has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen

Arthur Ho's 11 year career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is marked with a series of hotel openings in the Greater China region. He joined the company in 2002 as Director of Rooms with the company's first foray into China in Puxi, Shanghai. He joined Hong Kong's high-profile opening in 2005. Two years later, Arthur once again packed his bags for another pre-opening stint, this time in the position of Hotel Manager for the new property in Macau prior to his latest assignment as General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen.
