Valentina Sobeshchuk has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Fairmont Maldives, Sirru Fen Fushi

Fairmont Maldives, Sirru Fen Fushi is pleased to announce the appointment of Valentina Sobeshchuk as the resort's new Director of Sales & Marketing. Having worked in the Sales and Marketing departments of some of the world's most iconic hotels and brands, Valentina brings with her a strong foundation of dynamic and result-driven hospitality experience with a deep understanding of the luxury market and the UHNW clientele. Based in Dubai, Valentina will lead the resort's global sales and marketing efforts, forge relationships with both new and existing luxury tour operators, create and implement a strategic sales plan, guide the Sales and Marketing Team and identify new business opportunities.

Marshall Orton has been appointed as General Manager at Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi

With a wealth of luxury hospitality experience, spanning an impressive 25 years, in his new role Orton will lead the overall operations, performance, and strategic direction for Fairmont Maldives. Having spent much of his career in Asia working across Accor's luxury brands, Orton's roles have included General Manager at La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc in Vietnam and Director of Operations at Pullman Yangon Centrepoint in Myanmar.

With over twenty years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Andrew has worked with some of the world's most reputable brands - from Le Meridian and Mandarin Oriental to Shangri-La. He joins Fairmont Maldives from Potato Head Bali which, as Group Managing Director, he transformed into a globally recognised sustainable lifestyle hospitality brand, mobilising the company to become the first hospitality brand in Indonesia to be carbon neutral and opening the first zero-waste restaurant in the region. 

Lawrence Tuck has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi

Lawrence joins Fairmont Maldives from Pueblo Bonito Pacifica in Cabo San Lucas Mexico, with over 15 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry. From Four Seasons and Intercontinental to Fairmont properties in Canada and Mexico, Lawrence has worked as an Executive Chef, Director of Food and Beverage and General Manager, bringing a breadth of experience across key departments to his role as Fairmont Maldives' Hotel Manager.
