Following her success as Senior Catering Sales Executive, Brittany Erigo will now spearhead both properties' catering services and programs, from planning to execution. Her previous experience includes stints as Event Services Coordinator at Walt Disney World's Coronado Springs Resort, Convention Sales Coordinator at Visit Tampa Bay, Private Events Coordinator at The Tampa Club and Director of Convention & Corporate Sales at ZooTampa at Lowry Park.

Erica Tortora has been promoted to Director of Marketing at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and Tampa Marriott Water Street

In her previous role as Senior Marketing Manager at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and Tampa Marriott Water Street, Erica Tortora proved to be instrumental in elevating the properties to new heights and showcasing the hotels' role in the Water Street neighborhood. Erica has a decade of experience in luxury hospitality, having represented a number of hotel brands including Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Park Hyatt. She joined Marriott International in 2021 as a Communications Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach.

Derek Wood has been appointed as Director of Sales at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and Tampa Marriott Water Street

Derek Wood brings with him a treasure trove of experience in the hospitality world, having worked his sales magic with several Marriott-branded hotels over the past decade-and-a-half. Prior to joining the sister properties, Wood served as Associate Director of Sales at JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa where he managed the day-to-day activities of the resort's group and catering sales team. As Director of Sales, Derek will oversee all sales operations, devising innovative strategies to maximize revenue generation.

Andrea Paulino has been appointed as Chef de Cuisine at Epicurean Hotel

Located in the trendy Hyde Park historic district of South Tampa, Epicurean Hotel recently announced the promotion of Andrea Paulino to Chef de Cuisine of the 137-room boutique hotel. In this position, Chef Paulino will provide culinary direction for the property's talented chefs, updating seasonal happy hour menus, and ensuring the quality and consistency of culinary items. Paulino will also assist in creating and teaching a diverse list of cooking classes at the hotel's state-of-the-art, 32-seat Epicurean Theatre.

Rianon Cepriano has been appointed as Spa Director at Spa Evangeline at Epicurean Hotel, Autograph Collection

Epicurean Hotel recently announced the addition of Rianon Cepriano as Spa Director of Spa Evangeline located in the 137-room boutique hotel in the trendy Hyde Park historic district of South Tampa. Cepriano will oversee day-to-day operations of the spa, including the treatment menu and special promotions, staff management and training, spa product lines and retail. Cepriano will also serve as Area Director of Arch Amenity Group (formerly WTS International), the company that manages Spa Evangeline. She will oversee sister spas in Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Tampa.

Sheen Mahmud has been appointed as Spa Director at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street

With over a decade of experience in the health, wellness and spa community, Sheen Mahmud will oversee the Spa by JW®'s offerings. She previously held multiple positions at other Marriott properties in West Palm Beach and Pompano Beach. Mahmud, a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, previously served as Spa Director at the Epicurean Hotel, a Marriott Autograph Collection.

Shane Mott has joined Tampa Marriott Water Street as Director of Restaurants

Holding a degree from The Art Institutes in Hotel, Motel and Restaurant Management, Shane Mott joins as Director of Restaurants at Tampa Marriott Water Street. Prior to joining the Tampa market, Mott was an instrumental leader for the food and beverage team at Le Royal Meridien in Abu Dhabi, UAE during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping the property rebuild and achieve high service scores.

Nick Davies has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and Tampa Marriott Water Street

With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Nick Davies has spent several years with the Marriott brand. He started his journey as the opening Director of Event Planning at the Westin Denver International Airport and later joined the Renaissance Orlando as the Director of Event Management. In Orlando, he eventually took on the Director of Food & Beverage role, overseeing event planning, event operations, culinary, stewarding and outlets.

Epicurean Atlanta welcomes Chef Henry Tapia as its new executive chef. As an opening chef during the food-focused hotel's inception, Tapia returns in his new role to oversee all culinary operations at the property, including three dining concepts and 11,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.

Becky Hayes has been appointed as General Manager and Director of Sales at Residence Inn Tampa Wesley Chapel

Making her return to the Mainsail family, Becky Hayes is now General Manager and Director of Sales for the Residence Inn Tampa Wesley Chapel. Hayes originally joined Mainsail in 2012, first working in conference services at the original Mainsail Suites & Conference Center in Tampa and later as Senior Sales Manager at Epicurean Hotel. In addition to her Mainsail experience, Hayes' career includes time with Warwick hotels in New York City, convention centers in Kentucky, and most recently, a cluster of select service and extended stay hotels in Tampa. In her new role, Hayes is responsible for managing all aspects of hotel operation, including guest services, human resources, financial performance, sales efforts and revenue generation.
