A long-time resident of Florida's Gulf Coast, Chris has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry — and over 20 with Marriott International, including leadership positions at Ritz-Carlton, Renaissance and Marriot brand hotels. In his role, he will lead the overall sales efforts, as well as create and execute a marketing plan that lays the foundation for the hotel's success.

Ron McAnaugh has been appointed as Area General Manager at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and Tampa Marriott Water Street

A Marriott veteran of more than 30 years, McAnaugh comes to the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street with a wealth of hospitality experience. Prior to his role as Area General Manager at sister property Tampa Marriott Water Street, Ron served as Hotel Manager for Orlando World Center Marriott, Marriott's largest hotel. In addition to his Marriott responsibilities, McAnaugh just wrapped his term as Chairman of Visit Tampa Bay, and is now President of the Hillsborough County Hotel & Motel Association (HCHMA) and on the board for Tampa's Friends of the Riverwalk organization.

Douglas Rodriguez has been appointed as Executive Chef at Hotel Haya

Douglas Rodriguez joins Aparium Hotel Group as the Executive Chef for Hotel Haya, a boutique hotel in the famed neighborhood of Ybor City in Tampa, Fla., slated to open in September. Rodriguez will oversee Flor Fina, a coastal Mediterranean restaurant and a Cuban-inspired cafe, Café Quiquiriqui, in addition to the hotel's in-room dining and events programs. Known as "The Godfather of Nuevo Cuisine," Rodriguez brings over 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry with a heavy focus on Latino cuisine. His culinary creativity has transformed the image of Latino food in award winning establishments across New York City, London, Philadelphia, Coral Gables, among many others. His talents have earned him the prestigious James Beard Foundation's Rising Star Chef of the Year Award in 1996 as well as additional nominations for Best Chef in South Florida in 2008 and 2009. Rodriguez's culinary craft and personality has also found its way into the homes of millions of Americans through his participation on the first season of Top Chef Masters on Bravo and many appearances on national programs including The Late Show with David Letterman, Good Morning America, The Today Show, and CBS Weekend This Morning. A native of Miami and son of Cuban immigrants, Rodriguez studied at the prestigious culinary program at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Todd Kinney has been appointed as General Manager at Hyatt House Tampa Avion Park

McKibbon Hospitality, an award-winning leader in hotel management, today announced the appointment of hospitality veteran Todd Kinney as General Manager of the new Hyatt House Tampa Avion Park. Upon completion, Kinney will be responsible for overseeing all operations for the 145-room, extended-stay hotel, which is slated to open at the end of this year.

Pablo Molinari has been appointed as General Manager at Hotel Haya

An industry veteran with 23 years of experience, Molinari will leverage his international hospitality knowledge to oversee Hotel Haya in Tampa, FL. Most recently, he was general manager at Haya's sister Aparium property in Minneapolis, Hewing Hotel, for more than two years. Prior to joining the Aparium team, Molinari worked in various Hyatt properties, having risen the ranks from bellman in 1996 at Park Hyatt Buenos Aires--where he is originally from--to Director of Operations at Park Hyatt Washington in D.C. His work ethic and dedication allowed him to move through various roles at Hyatt properties around North America, including in Toronto, Columbus, OH and Albuquerque, NM. Molinari earned a degree in Hospitality from CENCAP in Buenos Aires.

Christopher Reagan has been appointed as Director of Finance at Westin Tampa Bay

As Director of Finance, Reagan will also play a fundamental role in achieving the financial and operational goals of the hotel's long-term investment. After managing limited service properties including Marriott Fairfield Inn, Hilton Hampton Inn and AmeriSuites by Hyatt for nearly 11 years, Reagan returned to his financial background when he joined Loews Hotels as an assistant director of finance in Nashville where he worked for several years prior to his move to the Sunshine State. Most recently, he held the position of director of finance at Westshore Grand, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel.

Colleen Beck has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Westin Tampa Bay

As Director of Sales and Marketing for Westin Tampa Bay, Beck brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience to the team, most of which were spent working locally in Florida. She will be responsible for driving the sales and marketing strategies for the 244-room hotel. Creative and results-oriented, Beck's skills in forecasting, budgeting, revenue control, P&L management and performance measurement stem from her previous years in leadership and director roles at various hotels including The Westshore Grand Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Hilton Tampa Bay Airport Westshore, Sheraton Suites Westshore and more.
