The soon to open Origin Westminster becomes part of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts' portfolio

Origin Westminster, a Wyndham Hotel - Surrounded by a variety of outdoor activities including hiking and biking and within the newly constructed Downtown Westminster, this hotel is will be ideally located between Denver and Boulder, Colo. With 128 beautifully designed guest rooms including seven suites, the hotel offers a freshly designed blend of local touches and appealing amenities that cater to all types of guests. The hotel will also have an onsite restaurant and bar, Famille, and will serve refined Colorado-inspired fare and craft cocktails. The hotel is scheduled to open in April of 2021.

Gina Barnes has been appointed as Director of Catering & Conference Services at The Westin Westminster

Barnes previously spent 14 years with Destination Hotels & Resorts, most recently serving at the Director of Catering at Colorado’s Inverness Hotel. She began her career in 1998 with Hostmark International and has held both operations and Sales and Catering positions, including Reservations Manager and Front Office Operations.

Teresa Jackson has been appointed as Senior Sales Manager Midwest Region at The Westin Westminster

Jackson brings more than 20 years of hospitality industry experience to The Westin Westminster. She most recently served as a Senior Sales Manager at the Embassy Suites Denver Downtown, which is also managed by Denver’s Sage Hospitality. A graduate of Northern Arizona University, she previously held sales positions at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale at Gainey Ranch, the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa and the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino.

Alison Genotte has been appointed as Catering Sales Manager at Westin Westminster

Genotte most recently served as a Catering Sales Manager at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center in the Woodlands, Texas. She previously served as a Catering Manager at the Radisson Hotel in Albuquerque, N.M. and for Levy Restaurant, Sports and Entertainment in Phoenix, where she oversaw the catering operations for all events at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. A graduate of the University of Houston’s Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management, she also previously worked for Aramark at Houston’s Reliant Stadium.

Jaclyn Payne has been appointed as Senior Sales Manager at Westin Westminster

Payne most recently served as a Sales Manager at Denver’s Hotel Teatro. A graduate of San Diego State University, she previously served as a Sales Manager at the Sheraton Denver Downtown and the Omni Interlocken Resort and Spa in Broomfield. Managed by Denver-based Sage Hospitality, The Westin Westminster features an indoor heated lap pool, an outdoor spa and a fully equipped fitness center.

Anwar Musa has been appointed as Director of Revenue Management at Westin Westminster

Musa most recently served as the Director of Revenue Management at The Westin Atlanta Perimeter in Atlanta. Prior to that, he was the Manager of Centralized Revenue Management for Starwood Hotels and Resorts in Atlanta and the Director of Revenue Management at The Westin Southfield Detroit in Southfield, Michigan. Other Starwood experience includes revenue management positions overseeing The Westin Minneapolis, Le Méridien San Francisco, Sheraton College Park and the Sheraton Danbury.

Brandon Hendricks has been promoted to Area Director of Sales & Marketing at The Westin Westminster

Prior to joining The Westin Westminster in 2009, Mr. Hendricks was the Director of Sales and Marketing at the St. Regis Houston. A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, he previously served as the Assistant Director of Convention Sales at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and also held several senior sales positions with Hyatt Hotel Corporate properties, including the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas, the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and the Grand Hyatt Atlanta.

Mike Case has been appointed as General Manager at The Westin Westminster

Mr. Case joins The Westin Westminster from the JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek, where he has served as General Manager since 2008. Under Mr. Cases’ leadership, the JW Marriott Denver was featured annually as one of the top U.S. hotels on Condé Nast Traveler’s “Readers’ Choice” list. A graduate of Colorado State University, Mr. Case was also previously the General Manager at Denver’s Oxford Hotel and the Assistant General Manager at the Denver Airport Marriott at Gateway Park.

Ana Lucero has been appointed as Small Meetings Specialist at The Westin Westminster

Lucero joins The Westin Westminster sales team from the Metro North Chamber of Commerce where she worked in Membership Development and Sales. Prior to that, she served as a Senior Sales Manager at the Embassy Suites Denver-Aurora. A graduate of Colorado State University, Lucero previously held sales positions at the Hilton Garden Inn Denver South/Meridian and the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Lucero is involved in the Denver Chamber of Commerce, the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, and the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Chris Claydon has been appointed as Senior Sales Manager at The Westin Westminster

Claydon most recently served as a Sales Manager at the Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel. Prior to that, he worked in sales for the Vallagio at Inverness by Metropolitan Homes in Englewood, the Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe, Calif. and the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa in Vail. A graduate of Northern Arizona University, Claydon also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in Lonetree. From 2006-2007, he founded and ran Meetings For the Minds, a Littleton-based meeting site selection company.

Dani Stern has been appointed as General Manager at Westin Westminster

Mr. Stern most recently served as General Manager at the prestigious JW Marriott Denver at Cherry Creek. Under his management, the hotel was named the top JW Marriott property in North America in overall guest satisfaction and Stern was recognized with the General Manager of the Year and the Food and Beverage Excellence Award from the chain. The hotel also received a Customer Excellence Award for ranking in the top 2.5 percent of all Marriott Hotels in overall guest satisfaction. Prior to joining Sage Hospitality, Stern served as General Manager at the renowned Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona and has held a number of positions with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide including General Manager of the Westin Tabor Center in Denver and Director of Operations of the Westin Crown Center Hotel in Kansas City. Mr. Stern graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management, and he received a diploma in hotel and restaurant management from the Institute Hotelier Cesar Ritz in Switzerland.
