Ground Broken on new Melbourne Airport Hotel

The first sod was turned today on the construction of a brand new hotel at Melbourne Airport to support growing traveller numbers and address constraints in hotel occupancy.  The 10-storey hotel will be dual-branded operating under the Novotel and ibis Styles' brands rated four and three stars respectively, offering guests gym and pool facilities, a café, bar and restaurant plus conference room facilities.

Hyatt Announces Plans for New Hyatt Regency Adelaide

Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with CES Pirie Hotel (SA) Pty Ltd., an entity wholly owned by Chip Eng Seng Corporation Limited, to develop a new Hyatt Regency in Adelaide. The new 295-room hotel will mark the return of a Hyatt branded hotel to Adelaide, continuing Hyatt's expansion in Australia. With construction planned to commence in early 2020, Hyatt Regency Adelaide is expected to open in early 2023.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites to open in 2020 as Sunshine Coast’s first new internationally-branded hotel in three decades

Leading Australian hotel investment and development company, Pro-Invest, will open a Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sunshine Coast in Maroochydore Town Centre in 2020, following the purchase of a prime site in Maroochydore and lodgement of a development application with Economic Development Queensland for a new select-service upper midscale hotel.
