Cleo Seaman has been appointed General Manager, Pullman Quay Grand, commencing on 16th March 2015. Cleo first joined Accor in November 2002 as Food and Beverage Manager at The Como Melbourne, before taking on the role of Front Office Manager in June 2005. In June 2006, Cleo moved to The Sebel Melbourne as Operations Manager and was then appointed to the role of General Manager at the Sebel Launceston in November 2006 before leaving Accor to join The Establishment Hotel Sydney. Cleo returned to Accor in June 2009 as General Manager at the Hotel Lindrum Melbourne and was then appointed to her most recent role as General Manager at The Como Melbourne since September 2012.

Mr Billing has 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry and was most recently General Manager of the 340-room Rendezvous Grand Hotel Melbourne. Prior to that, Mr Billing held the position of General Manager at the Marque Hotel in Brisbane as well as Canberra.

Danesh Bamji has been appointed General Manager, Pullman Hyde Park, effective 10th December 2014. Danesh originally joined Accor in 1993 at The Darling Harbour Hotels before departing Darling Harbour. He was then promoted to General Manager in October 2006 before moving to the Novotel Sydney Central in November 2010. Danesh was most recently the General Manager at the Novotel Brighton Beach since July 2014.

Jonathan Dean has been appointed General Manager, Novotel Brighton Beach, effective 8th December 2014. Jonathan commenced with the Accor group in 2006 at the Novotel Canberra in the role of Business Development Manager before being promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing. In May 2010, Jonathan transferred to Swiss Grand Resort & Spa Bondi Beach as Director of Sales and Marketing before being appointed Operations Manager in August 2011. Jonathan was most recently the General Manager at the Mercure Capricorn Resort since September 2012.

Mr. van Weezel arrives to Hilton Sydney with extensive hospitality experience in several different functions across Europe and Asia.

Under this newly created role for Ovolo, Wahid will be responsible for guiding the Group’s accounting processes, fiscal reporting and financial operations of Ovolo Hotels in Australia. He brings 32 years of experience in financial and management accounting to the Ovolo team, including strong technical knowledge and professional expertise in Australian accounting standards/corporation law and all reporting requirements across departments. Mr Banihali has previously served as a Director of Finance for leading international hotel chains in Australia, the Middle East and Asia.
