Rosewood Vienna is delighted to share the appointment of Olga Schuster as the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing of the ultra-luxury hotel located in the heart of Austria's capital. Olga will also lend strategic support and assistance to the team at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, opening in 2024. Rosewood Vienna opened in August 2022, making it the fifth European property in the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® portfolio and the brand's first in the German-speaking market. Under Olga's leadership, the property aims to further convey Rosewood Vienna's signature senses of place to prospective guests and showcase Austria's one-of-a-kind culture through guest facing programming and amenities.

Strengthening Partnerships: Alpin Family and SuitePad Equip Ten More Houses

The Austrian hotel group Alpin Family and the German hotel tech provider SuitePad are strengthening their partnership following successful pilot projects in three hotels. By the end of the year, an additional ten properties in the group will be furnished with SuitePad in-room tablets. These tablets offer guests an easy way to access hotel information and services digitally, enhancing the personalization of their stay. For instance, guests can now have the option to forgo room cleaning if they want to and on the days of their choice.

European Debut for Adina serviced apartments in Vienna, Austria

Australian hospitality chain TFE Hotels last week, unveiled the Adina Serviced Apartments Vienna, featuring 131 rooms. This new venture follows their earlier foray into Vienna with the Adina Apartment Hotel Vienna Belvedere launched in 2021. They're also planning to open another 108-room facility in the DANUBEFLATS, Austria's highest upcoming residential building, next year.

Primestar Group continues its Hilton brand growth with DoubleTree by Hilton Vienna Schönbrunn

The hotel operating company Primestar Group continues to grow and opened its first hotel in Austria with the DoubleTree by Hilton Vienna Schönbrunn on March 31st. The hotel property has been extensively renovated to meet the upscale DoubleTree standards, now offering contemporary accommodations and a number of fantastic amenities for leisure and business travel guests. Following a franchise agreement between Primestar and Hilton, the successful cooperation between the companies continues as Primestar Group already operates 5 Hampton by Hilton hotels in Germany. Another Hampton by Hilton in Vienna City West is currently under construction and will open in the second half of 2024.

He succeeds Michael Fritz, who is leaving the company on his own volition. For Michael Dorfer, the position as General Manager at Jaz in the City Vienna is a sort of homecoming at Deutsche Hospitality: From 2010 to 2016, he had previously worked as Front Office Manager and Executive Assistant Manager at Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof Vienna.
