Anthony Quin has been appointed as General Manager at Moevenpick Hotel Enshi

Swiss hotel-management company Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has appointed General Manager Anthony Quin to head the team at Mövenpick Hotel Enshi in Hubei province, China. The move follows a spate of recent senior hires in Asia, including the Philippines and Thailand, as the upscale hospitality company sets its sights on further growth in the region. Australian national, Mr Quin started his career with Intercontinental Hotels Group, remaining with the company for eight years in a number of positions throughout Australia and Canada.

Allan Wong has been appointed as General Manager at Pan Pacific Tianjin

Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Allan Wong as General Manager of Pan Pacific Tianjin, which is located in the largest harbour city of northern China. Eric Kee has been appointed as General Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Sanya

Eric Kee will join Mandarin Oriental, Sanya in May from his most recent role as General Manager of Pan Pacific, Xiamen. Eric has 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He first joined Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 1996 as Senior Assistant Front Office Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Macau. He then worked with several hotel groups in China, Malaysia, Macau and Japan before returning to the Group in 2011 as Hotel Manager for The Excelsior, Hong Kong.

Hakan Ozel has been appointed as General Manager at China World Summit Wing

A Turkish national and with over 10 years of experience in the Shangri-La family, Mr. Ozel brings strategic thinking and knowledge of hospitality from his diverse and rich career path in Asia and beyond. Prior to his current appointment, he was the general manager of Shangri La Hotel, Tianjin – the first hotel of the Shangri-La group in the city. He was also the resident manager at Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing, where he undertook special projects to improve the hotel and its facilities. He has also worked at other properties the same group in Wenzhou, Shenzhen and Dalian, as well as Indonesia and the Sultanate of Oman.
