At 42, Nicolas Combes is entrusted with the Food and Beverage Department at The Peninsula Paris and becomes the custodian of its gastronomic offer. Born in Poitiers, graduated in Marketing and Hotellière Management in La Rochelle, Nicolas has been working for more than fifteen years in the international luxury hotel industry. He climbed the stairs one by one, multiplying his experiences in renowned institutions in New York, Bora Bora and Paris where he served as Assistant Director of Restoration at Four Seasons George V for more than two years. In contact with the greatest stars - Philippe Legendre, Eric Briffard, Christian Le Squer or Joel Robuchon ... he shows tenacity in his managerial functions to rise to the top. Throughout his career, Nicolas develops a significant interest in various cultures. Jean Claude Wietzel has been appointed as Regional Vice President and General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris

From June 2018, Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris welcomes Jean Claude Wietzel as Regional Vice President and General Manager. ollowing a 16-year long career with Four Seasons, Wietzel makes the move from his most recent post as Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea in Hawaii to Europe to oversee his new region from the iconic Parisian hotel.After a Master of Business Administration in International Hotel Management in France at IMHI (Cornell University - ESSEC) and an international career, Wietzel joined the Four Seasons family in 2002 as the Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel New York. He soon was appointed to the same position at Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, where he gained the respect and care of the 600 talents working at the Hotel, offering the most unique experiences to Hotel guests during his four year tenure.In 2007, Jean Claude was promoted to General Manager at Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, followed by Four Seasons Resort Marrakech where he served as the opening General Manager. He then embraced the alohaspirit when he joined Four Seasons Resort Maui, a 380-room resort, where he managed a staff of more than 900 employees and built a strong commitment to the local community. He has also completed with his team a floor-to-ceiling transformation of the Resort's guest rooms and suites, along with numerous enhancements in the public areas. He was promoted to Regional Vice President in 2017 before coming back to Paris and his beloved George V, where the enthusiastic staff warmly welcomed him back after 11 years."During those 16 significant years within Four Seasons, the four years I spent at Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris truly filled me with unforgettable memories. After being Director of Sales and Marketing of several renowned institutions such as the Hotel du Louvre (5 stars), the Concorde Opera & Ambassador Hotel (4 stars) and the Radisson Blu Ambassador Hotel (4 stars), Laetitia Elmaleh joined the team of Alain Ducasse and takes the direction of his cooking school from 2009 to 2013. Maison Heler Metz to join Curio Collection

Metz Mayor Dominique Gros, internationally acclaimed creator Philippe Starck and Hilton unveiled plans for the distinctive, Maison Heler Metz, Curio Collection by Hilton. The 14-story hotel, which will operate under Curio Collection by Hilton in a landmark agreement unveiled at MIPIM, includes a €22.5 million investment led by Yvon Gérard and a consortium of investors.

OD Hotels Prepares for International Expansion with OD Côte d’Azur in 2019

Balearic boutique hotel group OD Hotels has finalized the purchase of the Cavalière Sur Plage Hotel on the French Riviera with plans to renovate and open OD Côte d"Azur in 2019. Just under 20 miles from Saint-Tropez, the property will be the group's sixth hotel and the first one to be located outside of Spain. Led by Marc Rahola, OD Hotels made the purchase for 11 Million Euros (approximately $36 Million USD).
