Wyndham Reaches 10 Super 8 by Wyndham Hotel in Germany with New Hotel in Koblenz

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world's largest hotel franchising company with over 9,000 hotels across over 95 countries, announces the opening of the 112-room Super 8 by Wyndham Koblenz in partnership with leading hotel management company GS Star GmbH, Grünwald. The newly built hotel marks an important milestone in the growth of the design-focused economy brand, Super 8 by Wyndham, and is the tenth property under the Super 8 by Wyndham brand to open in Germany.

Georg Bailer becomes the General Manager of greet Hotel Darmstadt; the 194-room property which became Accor's first greet-branded hotel when it rebranded last summer after a year of renovation. Over the last 28 years Georg has gained built up his operational expertise working across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and brings extensive knowledge of the Frankfurt market. Having managed several high-profile Marriott-branded hotels, Georg was also responsible for all 60 H-Hotels in his capacity as Director of Operations.

Largest hotel in the city opens in the historic Dortberghaus

Centrally located between the train station forecourt and the city center, IntercityHotel is the largest hotel in the city, boasting 231 rooms, five conference rooms, a restaurant and bistro lounge with bar and terrace. The gleaming interior of IntercityHotel Dortmund was conceived by Italian architect and designer Matteo Thun. With the FreeCityTicket, which is included with a stay at the hotel, guests can use public transport free of charge and explore the city with all its leisure, cultural and shopping opportunities in a climate-friendly way.
