Yvonne op de Hipt has been managing the Hotel Berlin Köpenick by Leonardo Hotels since December 2023. Under her leadership, the hotel was successfully transformed into the NYX Hotel Berlin Köpenick by Leonardo Hotels, which celebrated its opening in May 2025. Ms. op de Hipt was formerly Operations Manager at the Mövenpick Hotel Berlin and has gathered comprehensive knowledge of the upscale city hotel sector via a series of management roles. Her energy, organisational talent and people skills make her the ideal appointment for the lifestyle concept of NYX Hotels. She is also fired by adrenaline and by creative gastronomy.

Falk Bartels has been appointed as General Manager at The Posthouse Berlin Potsdamer Platz – Leonardo Limited Edition

The Posthouse Berlin - Leonardo Limited Edition, which opened on 1 September 2025, has created a new premium segment highlight in the hospitality sector in Berlin. After undergoing extensive modernisation works over recent months, the hotel now combines the historical flair of the former post office building in which it is housed with an individual character and modern levels of comfort. The company was able to secure the services of Falk Bartels as General Manager.

First voco Hotel for Hamburg: NOVUM Hospitality and IHG Hotels & Resorts Confirm Joint Growth in the Upscale Segment

Leonardo Mainz Opens Earlier Than Planned

Leonardo Hotels Central Europe has opened its newest hotel in the Rhine-Main region earlier than announced. The Leonardo Mainz has been receiving guests since 15 July 2025, a good two weeks before the originally scheduled launch date of 1 August. Hotel Director David Wilhelm and his team were on hand to greet the first guests in person. The Hagman Kadri family from Sweden had been on a two-week trip through Europe and took a spontaneous decision to check in on the opening day. They were delighted to be given such a great reception.
