Spiridon Sarantopoulos has been appointed as Director at Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin

Experienced hotel manager Spiridon Sarantopoulos will be departing from Königswinter near Bonn to make the journey south to Swabia, where he will be formally installed as Director of the Deluxe Hotel Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin in Stuttgart on 1. January 2012. The hotel which Sarantopoulos will be taking over has recently undergone extensive renovations and has secured a position as the leading hotel in Stuttgart as well as earning a reputation for being one of the very best establishments in the whole of Germany. The gourmet restaurant Olivo has been the proud bearer of a Michelin Star for 13 years and is one of the city's top gourmet locations.

Edwin D. Fuller has been named 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award Winner at 15th International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF)

Edwin D. Fuller, President and Managing Director-International Lodging at Marriott International Inc., has been named the 2012 recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 15th annual International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF), scheduled for 5-7 March, at the Hotel InterContinental Berlin, Germany. The highly respected IHIF Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual who, over his or her lifetime, has made a significant difference in the hospitality industry by their actions, deeds, and great accomplishments. Fuller has led Marriott’s growth outside the continental United States from 16 hotels to more than 550 hotels today in more than 70 countries. Approximately 175 additional hotels are currently under development outside the United States. Fuller joined Marriott in 1972 as a management trainee and, in 1985, was named Regional Vice President for Marriott’s Midwest Region, based in Chicago; four years later, he was appointed Regional Vice President for the Western/Pacific Region, based in Santa Ana, CA. He assumed leadership of Marriott’s International Lodging operations in 1991 as Senior Vice President and Managing Director and was promoted to President and Managing Director, his current position, in 1997. He has been an Executive Corporate Officer since 1997 and chairs the International Development committee.

Isabella Owen has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Jumeirah Frankfurt

In Jumeirah Frankfort, opening in September 2011, Isabella Owen is now Director of Sales and Marketing. She brings 16 years of international experience in several senior Sales and Marketing management positions with high profile hospitality businesses such as the Schlosshotel Bühlerhöhe in Baden-Baden, Germany; ArabellaStarwood Hotel Munich, and both Shangri-La Hotel and Intercontinental in Vienna. A German national of Taiwanese origins, Isabella is fluent in several languages including Mandarin, German and English. In her new role she will oversee all sales, marketing & public relations activities for Jumeirah Frankfurt.

Martin Steiner has been appointed as Executive Chef at the Jumeirah Frankfurt
