Nayan Seth has been appointed as General Manager at Taj Palace, New Delhi

Taj Palace, New Delhi, the capital's landmark hotel welcomes Nayan Seth as General Manager. With over two decades of prolific experience, Nayan is an admired leader in the industry and a veteran with The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), South Asia's largest hospitality company. In his new role, Nayan will be responsible for the continued success of the Taj Palace, New Delhi through his strategic leadership, and ensuring margin enhancement and overall operational excellence. In his last assignment, Nayan led the fabled Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur, nestled in the midst of Lake Pichola, Udaipur, Rajasthan.

IHG signs a Holiday Inn hotel in Dehradun

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), one of world's leading hotel companies has signed a management agreement with Devatva* for Holiday Inn Dehradun Mussoorie Diversion Road. Located on the main road that leads to Mussoorie, one of the most popular hill station in northern India, the hotel will open its doors and welcome guests in 2023.

Vikram Ganpule has been appointed as Executive Chef at Andaz Delhi

Vikram Ganpule has been appointed as the Executive Chef at Andaz Delhi. In his new role, Chef Vikram will be responsible for handling the overall culinary operations hotel, including concept planning and execution, cost management, quality control, sustainable sourcing and monitoring food production to name a few functions. Chef Ganpule was the Executive Chef at Hyatt Regency Chennai before moving to this role. With 23 years of enriching experience across distinctive brands and diverse geographies in the culinary world, Chef Ganpule has carved a niche for himself as a game changer. He started his career with ITC hotels after graduating from IHM Delhi, post which, he was a part of Welcomgroup Management Institute (WMI) and trained and worked with ITC Hotels. After ITC, he had an international exposure to the Middle East for two years. Since 2002, Chef had an incredible journey in World of Hyatt with exciting adventures across Kathmandu, Kolkata and Chennai. Chef is also an avid reader and enjoys experiential travel.

Manjul Myne has been appointed as Pastry Chef at Andaz Delhi

Chef manjul Myne has been appointed the new Pastry Chef at Andaz Delhi. With over 11 years of distinguished experience in the culinary space, Chef Manjul will be responsible for the pastry section of the kitchen across all three F&B venues and event spaces. Chef Manjul started his career with The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts in the year 2007 as a Kitchen Associate after completing his studies in Hotel Management from NIPS School of Hotel Management, Kolkata. He also holds a Masters in Kitchen Management from The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development. In the past, Chef Manjul has worked with hotels like JW Marriott Chandigarh, The Oberoi Rajvilas and The Oberoi Vanyavilas. In his previous role as Pastry Chef at JW Marriott Chandigarh, Chef Manjul was responsible of the bakery, confectionery and pastry section along with overlooking the main kitchen operations, as the second in command to the Executive Chef. He was responsible for seven Food & Beverage outlets at the hotel. Chef Manjul believes his biggest strength is the team. He loves to explore different cuisines and is a real foodie. His mantra for success is to stick to the basics and enhance the flavours using the best local and seasonal ingredients. He is looking forward to taking the very popular pastry offering at Andaz Delhi to a whole new dimension.
