Matthias Welzel has been named General Manager at Hilton Lake Como

Matthias Welzel has been named as the new General Manager of Hilton Lake Como. Located in the heart of the city of Como, the 170-room Hilton property opened in 2018 and is privately owned by the Limonta family. The hotel originated as the site of the Tintoria Subalpina factory, which specialised in silk printing and dyeing from 1935 to 1997. Welzel will lead the historic hotel and hands-on team in all aspects of hotel operations, from marketing and hotel administration to guest services and satisfaction.
