Axel Jarosch has been appointed as General Manager at Six Senses Zighy Bay

Six Senses Zighy Bay has announced the appointment of Axel Jarosch as General Manager, overseeing the resort’s daily operations and guest experiences. Prior to his appointment Axel has played a senior role across a number of renowned hotel companies including Anantara Hotels Resorts and Spas, Per AQUUM and Constance Hotels. He currently resides with his family in Muscat Oman and originates from Germany. Six Senses Zighy Bay is an Omani style resort set in spectacular landscape on the remote Musandam Peninsula. James Knight-Pacheco has been appointed as Chef de Cuisine at Six Senses Zighy Bay

Before Zighy Bay, James was the Head Chef for Assemblage based in London, where he was responsible for successfully creating a desirable menu and restaurant concept. Prior to this he held the position of Demi Chef du Parti at Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saissons, the two star Michelin restaurant and hotel, in Oxfordshire. James will be introducing a new menu concept at Sense on the Edge based on international recipes and integrating rich Arabic spices fresh from the resorts Organic garden. Guests will be able to choose from three or five courses which consist of dishes such as Arabic spiced roasted scallops, almond and pine nut crumble, cauliflower and apple with pomegranate kernels. The concept has been created to create a fresh new dining experience for new and returning guests.
