Guests will have access to six restaurants and bars, a spa, kid's club, outdoor observatory, tennis courts and a marine conservation discovery centre - all within the sanctuary of Platte Island. The island itself lies just over 130km south of Mahé and is renowned as a nature lover's paradise, covered with palm forest and surrounded by a coral reef and lagoon. A small airstrip allows for access to the island from the main airport of Mahé. In an effort to create and use renewable energy as part of the resort's operation, many buildings throughout the grounds will be equipped with solar paneled roofing.

Hany Abdelmoneim has been appointed as General Manager at Kempinski Seychelles Resort Baie Lazare

Having previously worked in divergent destinations such as Egypt, China and the Middle East, Abdelmoneim brings more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his new appointment.Abdelmoneim returns to the Kempinski Group (and indeed, to the Seychelles property, where he served as interim general manager in 2014) from his most recent assignment as general manager at the Wanda Vista Lanzhou in China.He began his hospitality career as a reservations agent with Cairo Marriott Hotel & Casino, Egypt, in 1988. Abdelmoneim grew through the ranks, gaining valuable experience and leadership positions in sales and rooms divisions in both Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh, before moving to the Ritz-Carlton, Doha, Qatar, as Director of Rooms in 2004.Abdelmoneim joined Kempinski in 2005, as Executive Assistant Manager at Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea, Jordan. His career with Europe's oldest luxury hotel chain saw him taking up top management positions for the pre-opening of Kempinski's properties in Soma Bay, Egypt (2008), and Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia (2012), where he served as general manager for both hotels.His next challenge took him to the bustling city of Lanzhou in Gansu Province in Northwest China, as general manager at the five-star Wanda Vista Lanzhou in 2016.

It is from the Maldives, and his former position as resort manager at One&Only Reethi Rah, that Pink joins Four Seasons.

Nico is a well-rounded hotelier with over 15 years of experience, having worked in the UAE, Russia, Seychelles, Tanzania and South Africa for international brands such as Hyatt, Kempinski and Intercontinental. Nico began his career in hospitality as a Restaurant Manager in his native South Africa in 2004. Between 2006 and 2011, he was F&B Manager for North Island, Seychelles and Kempinski Bilila Lodge in Tanzania. In 2011, he moved to Russia to become F&B Director for Kempinski Grand Hotel Gelenzhik and Hyatt Regency Ekaterinburg. In 2016, he joined Anantara, Avani's sister brand, as EAM - F&B for the three Anantara properties on Sir Bani Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, and was promoted to Hotel Manager in 2018.
