Jason was previously with The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali for a total for 7 years where he held various key management roles as Hotel Manager for 3 years, Executive Assistant Manager and the Director of Sales & Marketing where he was responsible for strengthening its position as a world-class family leisure and MICE resort.

Todd Arthur has been appointed as Vice President of sales at Sabre Travel Network Asia-Pacific

TODD Arthur is replacing Brett Henry as vice president of sales and market development for Sabre Travel Network Asia-Pacific, effective since June 7. Arthur will chiefly be responsible for sales performance and business growth across Asia-Pacific and will be based in Sabre’s regional headquarters in Singapore, reporting directly to senior vice president Roshan Mendis. He will also work closely with Sabre’s Asia-Pacific product and technology teams to drive solutions development and deployment in the region, as well as be involved in identifying and championing growth opportunities for the company. He was most recently managing director Asia-Pacific for HRS, and prior to that, had held senior management and business development positions for companies such as BCD Travel, Advito, Finnair and Malaysia Airlines. Arthur also represents Asia on the board of directors of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives.

Vincent Le Gorrec has been appointed as General Manager at Grand Copthorne Waterfront

Vincent’s appointment will start on 1 June 2016. He will be taking over the General Manager position from Mr Benedict Ng, who has been reassigned to take up a new position with MHR’s North American team. Vincent is a veteran in the hospitality industry, having worked in international hotel chains such as St Regis, Four Seasons and Shangri La. He has also lived and worked in many parts of the world including Singapore, USA, France, Africa and Indonesia. Jacqueline Ho has been appointed as General Manager at M Hotel Singapore

Having previously worked with MHR, Jacqueline returns to the Group on 6 June 2016. She brings with her more than two decades of hospitality experience. She started her hospitality career with MHR at Copthorne King’s Hotel. Jacqueline has worked for more than 17 years for the Group, having worked at the Corporate Sales Office, Studio M, Copthorne Orchid Hotel Singapore.

Victor Wong has been appointed as Vice President Development, Asia Pacific at Small Luxury Hotels of the World

With a dedicated focus on development, Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) today announced the appointment of Victor Wong to the role of Vice President Development, Asia Pacific. Wong, who will work closely with newly appointed Vice President, Asia Pacific, Mark Wong, has been with Small Luxury Hotels of the World for four years with a partial remit of development. His new role will see him take full responsibility in expanding relationships with new hotels to the brand. He has been instrumental in negotiating some of our flagship hotels such as The President by Akaryn, Ventiane and The Tokyo Station Hotel, Tokyo. Sharon Seong has been appointed as General Manager at Oakwood Studios Singapore

Sharon Seong has been appointed general manager of the upcoming Oakwood Studios Singapore, Oakwood’s first property in the country, set for a November opening. In her new role, Seong will spearhead the opening of the serviced apartment, bringing to the table her experience in sales and marketing, pre-opening, branding, positioning and strategic market penetration.She was most recently general manager of boutique property Club Hotel in Singapore, and had previously held roles such as country cluster director of sales & marketing for Thailand for the Ascott Group, as well as cluster director of sales of Ibis Hotels Singapore.

Simon Fiquet has been appointed as General Manager, South East Asia and India at Expedia

As part of the Asia Pacific management team, Fiquet will be responsible for expanding the brand’s footprint, P&L, and strategic business direction for Expedia brand across seven points of sale. Based out of Singapore, he will manage operational execution, introduction of innovative products, and the overall business results for Expedia. He will report to Jonathon Neal, CEO, AirAsiaExpedia.
