Steven Black has been appointed as Executive Chef at COMO Point Yamu

COMO Point Yamu, a contemporary oceanside resort overlooking the Andaman Sea, has recently appointed Steven Black as Executive Chef. Black will lead the culinary offering of the resort, which includes the Italian restaurant La Sirena, serving simple, wood-fired cuisine; the southern Thai street food restaurant, Nahmyaa; the colourful Aqua Bar; and the beach-style bar and restaurant at COMO Beach Club, which serves authentic Thai dishes and refreshing juices.

Ingo Domaschke has been appointed as Opening GM at OZO Pattaya

Veteran ONYX General Manager Ingo Domaschke has moved from his previous Koh Samui-based role to Pattaya as opening GM for OZO Pattaya, scheduled to open in 2020. He is also part of the pre-opening task force for the early 2019 relaunch of Amari Pattaya Ocean Tower and unveil of the all-new Amari Pattaya Ocean Suites, offering his expertise from the refurbishment and recent relaunch of Amari Koh Samui.

Sanjeev Kapoor has been named General Manager of Shama Sukhumvit Bangkok and Ekamai Gardens Bangkok. Sanjeev joins ONYX from Oakwood where he served as General Manager for Oakwood Premier in Bangalore. His hotel career started with Hyatt in Melbourne, before taking on leadership roles with Crown Resorts, The Leela Group in New Delhi and TFE Hotels in Melbourne.

James Robert Wilson has been appointed as General Manager at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok

Wilson has almost 30 years' hotel experience in Europe, Middle East and Asia and was general manager at Pathumwan Princess Hotel Bangkok from 2000 - 2006 before being promoted to be vice president of operations at Dusit International (Corporate Head Office in Bangkok). In 2009, he has transferred to manage Dusit Thani Dubai as general manager until 2013, then starting his career at Millennium Corniche Hotel Abu Dhabi as general manager until 2016.
