The iconic doors of the Conservatorium hotel on the Van Baerlestraat will open again on Wednesday 22 July at 10:00. The luxury lifestyle hotel is the first hotel within The Set Hotels Group to reopen, after being closed for a period due to corona measures. A Staycation Package has been put together and Executive Chef Schilo van Coevorden launches the Taiko Summer Edition, a menu with all the signature dishes by Taiko that guests have missed the most, served in the Brasserie and on the terrace of the Conservatorium hotel. With the opening of the hotel, the Akasha Spa also opens, where treatments and massage rooms can be booked and guests can fully relax.

Golden Tulip Hotel Alkmaar has started a large-scale renovation project. The first work was completed in June this year. The entire fourth floor of the hotel has been renovated and restyled. On 1 June 2020, Mövenpick Hotel The Hague will open its doors on Paleisstraat in The Hague, a stone's throw from Noordeinde Palace. The renovation of the luxury boutique hotel was completed in March and the time has finally come to show what the hotel has to offer. In the future, the hotel with its 72 rooms hopes to attract business guests visiting the Hofstad and tourists who go for a warm atmosphere and top service in a central location. In the coming period, the hotel will focus on guests from all over the Netherlands who are ready for a short holiday in their own country and - certainly also with its restaurant and coffee & wine lounge - at the local market in The Hague. The hotel has three meeting rooms on the ground floor and an extensive gym and a spacious parking garage with 42 spaces under the building.

Wencke Bolsius has been appointed as General Manager at Swissôtel Amsterdam

From 1 March, Wencke Bolsius will start as General Manager at Swissôtel Amsterdam. After almost ten years as Head of Revenue for the Hotel Okura Amsterdam, she takes over from Harold Kluit, former General Manager of Swissôtel Amsterdam. Wencke has more than 25 years of experience in the luxury hotel industry. She fulfilled the position of Revenue Manager at the 5-star Bilderberg Garden Hotel and the 4-star boutique hotel Bilderberg Jan Luyken in Amsterdam. With this new position, she joins the international Accor family.

Five years after the official opening of The Harbor Club Amsterdam South, the high-end restaurant reopens with a new look and feel. In addition to a substantial expansion of the restaurant, the entire interior is subject to a facelift.
